Aim: To describe current evidence and guidelines that support non-surgical management of liver injuries in blunt trauma. The liver is the most commonly injured organ in blunt abdominal trauma and the second most commonly injured organ in penetrating abdominal trauma.Hepatic trauma is a common cause for admissions in the Emergency Room. Currently, non-surgical management is the standard treatment in hemodynamically stable patients with a success rate of around 85–98%. In the past, most liver injuries were treated surgically.

The orthodontic treatment is, perhaps, in terms of duration, the longest-performed dental procedure. It is universally accepted that if the duration of the orthodontic treatment is reduced, there will be an increased favourable attitude towards the orthodontic therapy. Unfortunately, long orthodontic treatment time also poses several disadvantages like higher predisposition to dental caries, gingival recession and root resorption. Accelerating orthodontic tooth movement can notably reduce treatment duration and risks of side effects.

The dental practitioner is provided with a variety of post endodontic treatment options which range from invasive methods like full veneer crowns to least invasive and aesthetic procedures like bleaching. The most important parameter in non-vital bleaching is the placement of a barrier to prevent the resorption of the tooth. The aim was to report a case of successful nonvital bleaching walking bleach and maintain the natal tooth structure, with follow up reports of 1 years.

Aortico Left Ventricular Tunnel (ALVT) is a rare congenital anomaly. It presents as an asymptomatic murmur to severe Aortic Regurgitation (AR) and heart failure. Most of the patients have heart failure in first year of life. Method: We present a review of the relevant literature and 20 recent articles with case presentations. Patient rarely present beyond second decade of life.

Purpose: To validate empirically the Brief core set for low back pain of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health in the context of a Back School program. Method: Quantitative, descriptive and cross sectional study with 69 subjects, from April to November 2015. The core set was applied by asking questions of Body Functions, Activities and Participation and Environmental Factors. Clinical records and complementary examinations of physical therapy assessment were used to classify Body Structures.

The Lumbar disc prolapse is considered one of the most common causes of low back pain. As it may affecting the working population that’s way it is regarded as major socioeconomic problem. The advances of MRI it become the first choice modality in assessment of patients with disc prolapse . As it is non invasive, non ionizing imaging modality.Eighty three patients 47 male and 36 female was included in this study and all patients were examined clinically and there MRI result was evaluated from January 2013 till January 2017.

The aim of this study was to analyse if off-pumpcoronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) is associated with better treatment outcomes than on-pump CABG. Method: We reviewed 10 recent articles on pub-med off-pump and on-pump CABG revascularization.

In this paper Fuzzy Logic and proposed Neural Network based Direct Torque Control of Induction motor are designed. A Back Propagation Neural Network is used in proposed method. The training patterns of Neural Network are extracted from Fuzzy Logic Controller based Direct Torque Control of Induction Motor. The operating characteristics of the proposed drive is compared with the Direct Torque Control and Fuzzy Logic Control to verify the effectiveness under various conditions by investigating the transient response for the step change of speed command and the load torque.

After strenuous exercise performed by the Brazilian military, there was a moderate increase in oxidative stress confirmed by the increment in TBARS, so the health risk should have been minimal. The basic blood count showed values considered healthy indicating a rigorous homeostatic control of the hematological parameters for this type of exercise. The remaining parameters suffered significant alterations: decrease in sodium, increase in potassium, decrease in chlorine, decrease in magnesium and increase in copper.

In South America, water in several regions is a strong limiting condition for socioeconomic development.
