Theracal… future of pulp capping ????

Pulp Capping represents an important endodontic treatment in dentistry since it preserves the vitality of the tooth in contrary to Root canal Therapy after which the tooth is left brittle. Very few recent pulp capping materials have gained popularity because of the gold standards set by Dycal and MTA which are used since years. One such material which deserves to be highlighted is TheraCal–LC which was introduced by Bisco Inc, Schamburg, IL, USA. Hence, We will compare TheraCal with the two Giants of pulp capping materials on the basis of published literature.

Premature rupture of membrane and molecular and microbiological profile of blood of newborns with suspected neonatal infection

Many term and preterm newborns with clinical signs of sepsis, whose mothers had premature rupture of membranes (PROM), have negative blood cultures, but in molecular biology research the presence of genomic DNA from different congenital bacteria has been observed. Thus, the association of molecular examination with rtPCR with different bacterial primers may help us in a more objective treatment. The samples 101 newborns with PROM were analyzed by rtPCR with primers for bacteria Streptococcus agalactie, Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

Infective endocarditis and dentistry: an article review

This review summarizes the studies about association of dentistry with infective endocarditis and emphasizes the need for dental professional to provide antibiotic prophylaxis prior to dental procedures to prevent the dentistry related infective endocarditis and also to avoid the risk associated with the overprescribing of antibiotics. Infective endocarditis is a life threatening condition if untreated and continues to cause significant morbidity and mortality in defiance of modern antimicrobial and surgical treatment.

The focus is on the relationship between age and motor behavior which makes the study of motor development unique from other viewpoints. Motor development includes age related changes in both posture and movement, the two basic ingredient of motor behavior. The results portrayed by means of statistical tests and standard method of sampling.

Linear functional transformation of electromagnetic wave through volterra functional

Vitto Volterra defined functional as a law given by which to every function defined within there can be made to correspond one and only one quantity perfectly determined. The definition of the functional was a particular case of mapping where the domain contains only the set of functions. Later the function of a line was introduced. It was shown that in this case also the functional was linear functional. By using the functional which the function of a line I showed that the electromagnetic wave was linearly transformed into straight line and vice versa.
