Effect of aflatoxin residue on chicken egg quality of layer chickens in lamongan district east java province

This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of aflatoxin residue on chicken egg quality of layer chickens in the district of Lamongan, East Java Province, Indonesia. Aflatoxine is the result of secondary metabolism produced by fungus Aspergillus flavus, well known as maize contaminates, the main ingredient of chicken feed. When layer chickens consume aflatoxine-contaminated feed, the aflatoxine residues on eggs will also cause decreasing of egg quality.

Accessory gallbladder: - a radiological, surgical challenge and anatomic variation a rare congenital anomaly of gallbladder and accessory appendage

Accessory Gallbladder is an extremely rare anomalous condition, with the advent of state of the art imaging modalities it is possible now to diagnose the anomaly appropriately, pre-operatively and treatment can be perform with precision. We present here one such case from our clinical practice. Open surgery for removal of such abnormalities are useful for accessory gallbladder (intra hepatic positive) which lies structurally closed to right or left hepatic duct or other vascular structure.

Iot resources management: a comprehensive study supported by the top providers of things management

Internet of Things (IoT) became an essential tool nowadays in every practical or scientific field. IoT connects intelligently fixed or mobile devices, moving objects or even animals in one network. These devices may need physical resources or services over the cloud. IoT defined as a network that connects physical objects to interact with each other for to perform information sharing and to take an action. IoT offers services as well.

A comparative study on association of carotid artery intima media thickness and obesity in children aged between 10 to 15 years

Introduction: Obesity in childhood is a major risk factor for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease in adulthood. Carotid intima media thickness (CIMT) is found to be an excellent marker of pre clinical atherosclerosis. Objective: To evaluate the association of carotid artery intima media thickness with obesity and fasting lipid profile in children aged between 10 to 15years. Methods: 130 school children aged between 10 to 15 years from three different schools of Mysuru city were selected, based on convenience sampling.

Some properties of fuzzy quasi ideals in ternary semigroups

D.H. Lehmer introduced the theory of ternary algebraic system in 1932 and iIn 1965, F.M. Sioson studied ideal theory in ternary semigroups. In this paper we proved some properties of fuzzy quasi ideals in ternary semigroups. It is prove that “A non-empty subset A of a ternary semigroup T is a quasi ideal in T if and only if the characteristic function CA of is a fuzzy quasi ideal in T ” .

Remediation uranium polluted soil by washing method

Global concern for environmental protection and reintroduction of radioactive contaminated soils in rehabilitating land circuit of decontamination program of polluted areas; is an important and perpetual task. For remediation of radioactive soils the following systems were used; a) water, b) HNO3, c) C6H7O8, d) NaOH, contact time 4 hours, temperature 80OC. Experimental investigations were performed on 5 soil samples which have been characterized in terms of activity concentration. It was established the remediation degree for each type of soil and reagent.

Probability distributions of wind speed historical data series in mossoró, northeastern Brazil

We studied seven probability distributions (Normal, Log-Normal, Beta, Gamma, Log-Pearson Type III, Gumbel, and Weibull) to verify their adjustment to historical data series of average monthly wind speed in the municipality of Mossoró, northeastern Brazil. To verify the goodness of fit of data to these models, we applied the Maximum Likelihood Logarithm and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Kuiper, Cramer-von Mises, Anderson-Darling, and Chi-squared tests at a significance level of 10%, totaling 504 tests. The Gumbel probability distribution provided the best fit for the data of monthly wind speed.
