With COVID-19, the way of doing and thinking about education mediated by digital technologies suddenly emerged. The new educational reality is evidenced by the distance between the bodies and the teaching and learning processes, requiring teachers who are prepared and committed to the act of educating. This paper is a theoretical-practical study that explores professional development and teacher education in the context of the current pandemic.

A Atenção Primária à Saúde é a porta de entrada preferencial da rede de saúde, denominada como Atenção Básica no Brasil é avaliada pela lista brasileira das condições sensíveis à atenção primária, composta por agravos à saúde cujo perfil de morbimortalidade é capaz de ser reduzido ou transformado por uma atenção primária resolutiva e eficiente, cuja a Sífilis congênita faz parte. A infecção pode gerar implicações graves para o concepto aumentando a frequência de hospitalizações gerando aumento da morbimortalidade e consequências psicológicas inerentes às internações.

This article addresses the panorama of the federal crime of child-young pornography committed through the internet, in Pernambuco State, in Brazil. It has as its main goal to trace the profile of the accused, analyze the penalties applied, assess the duration of the processes and their obstacles, determine the level of compliance of the offered complaints, and evaluate whether there was an increase in the number of criminal actions and police inquiries in the period.

Introdução: A gestação é um período de mudanças na vida das mulheres e a preparação do corpo alterações fisiológicas, dentre elas o sono. Objetivo: Analisar e comparar a qualidade do sono de gestantes primigestas e multigestas. Materiais e Métodos: A pesquisa foi realizada com 92 gestantes, que foram divididas em dois grupos, sendo 70 gestantes multigestas e 22 primigestas.

Introduction: Acute traumatic spinal cord injury is a complex injury affecting the nervous tissue of the spinal cord, vertebrae, joints, innervation and local vasculature, resulting in high mortality, physical dependence, stress, financial losses, lifelong risk of medical complications and reduced longevity. The complexity of the clinical repercussions of acute spinal cord trauma (SCI) makes early interventions necessary to ensure better prognosis.

The article referenced in results of several empirical, documental and bibliographical research studies about money transfer programs developed under the coordination and with the participation of the authors, discusses the reality of these programs under implementation in Brazil and Argentina, situating them in the 2016-2021 period. It begins with the socioeconomic and political context of both countries, highlighting the prevalence of ultraliberalism with negative repercussions on the labor market and on poverty, a situation which is rendered worse by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Há uma grande associação de múltiplos fatores que determinaram essa grande quantidade de crianças com desvio de IMC, esse aspecto multifatorial pode ser um determinante de condições de vida, saneamento, representando fatores sociais e econômicos. Crianças saudáveis tem uma maior probabilidade de aprendizado, interação social, menor risco de desenvolverem doenças e desta forma criar maiores oportunidade para quebrar o clico de pobreza e fome que assola o planeta.

A simple, green and rapid method for the simultaneous determination of three kinds of quinolone antibiotics (QNs) from environmental water samples and biological samples was established by monolithic spin columns-solid phase extraction coupled with high performance liquid chromatography (MSC-SPE-HPLC). The QNs was completely adsorbed by 300 mg spent coffee grounds as the sorbents of MSC-SPE at 1000 rpm, and eluted by 2500 μL acetonitrile and 4% acetic acid (60:40, V:V). The efficient and rapid elution was obtained under the speed of 500 rpm.

Objetive: We analyzed expression of PECAM-1 and endoglin for a correlation with clinicopathological behavior in CMM. Methods: Control (n = 12), CMN (n = 48), and CMM (n = 44) samples were submitted for immunohistochemistry. PECAM-1 and endoglin expression were counted in the stroma (hot spots) of all samples in order to calculate the MVD. Data analyses were performed using univariate statistical tests, with significance set at p<0.05.

Objetivo: Avaliar segurança e a qualidade de atendimento em pacientes submetidos à endoscopia digestiva alta sob sedação endovenosa com abreviação de jejum. Método: Estudo prospectivo e randomizado em 207 pacientes do Hospital Universitário de Vassouras, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, indicados para endoscopia digestiva alta. Dividiu-se os pacientes em dois grupos aleatórios por meio desorteio. Em um grupo realizou jejum habitual (6 a 8h) e o outro jejum abreviado para 2h com ingestão de chá enriquecido com maltodextrina a 12,5%.
