Do consumo social ao problemático, o álcool é a droga mais utilizada no mundo. O alcoolismo, consequência do uso abusivo e incontrolável do álcool, tem se tornado uma das maiores preocupações no campo da saúde pública. Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender o sentido dos profissionais do Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Álcool e Outras Drogas em relação ao cuidado de alcoo1listas.Trata-se de umapesquisa qualitativa, fundamentada no referencial metodológico da História Oral de Vida.

A mielofibrose primária (MFP) é classificada como neoplasia mieloproliferativa (NMP) que apresenta como alteração básica a hematopoiese ineficaz secundária a um distúrbio clonal de células-tronco. Atualmente, a terapia medicamentosa para MFP não tem obtido sucesso na mudança da história natural da doença, sendo o transplante alogênico de medula o único tratamento capaz de proporcionar cura.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the antimicrobial and antibiofilm potential of 10% Aloe vera gel against in vitro oral bacteria compared with 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate gel. Design: The antimicrobial activity was evaluated using radial diffusion and agar perforation. The aim of the study was to identify biomarkers of morbidity in people with diabetic retinopathy (DR). This is an integrative literature review of studies addressing DR as a biomarker of morbidity. Full studies published between 2010 and 2020 in English, Spanish and Portuguese languages were included. The search was conducted in the VHL, PubMed and ScIELO databases, using morbidity, biomarkers and diabetic retinopathy as descriptors. Six articles were selected, corresponding to the objective of the study.

Child-juvenile cancer corresponds to a group of several diseases that have in common the uncontrolled proliferation of abnormal cells and that can occur anywhere in the body. According to the National Cancer Institute (INCA), in most cases, the symptoms are related to the common disease in childhood, thus representing the first cause of death with 8% of the total among children and adolescents from 1 to 19 years old., present in all Brazilian regions.

The choice of metallic materials for use in orthopedic and dental implants is made by evaluating physical, chemical and biocompatibility properties. The authors are commenting on the study entitled: “Four-year outcomes of aflibercept treatment for neovascular age-related macular degeneration: results from rel-life setting” published by Lukic et al. in European Journal Ophthalmology 2020 (Doi: 10.1177/1120672120938565. Published on June 25, 2020), which assessed 4-year structural and functional outcomes in intravitreal aflibercept treatment for 89 patients (94 eyes) with neovascular age-related macular degeneration in a real-world setting.
