Objetivos: abordar de forma crítica e reflexiva os principais desafios enfrentados pela equipe de Enfermagem no atendimento aos usuários em situações de urgência/emergência no ambulatório de especialidade e apontar fatores que devem ser considerados na organização e no planejamento da assistência a ser prestada diante dessas situações.
Objetivo: Introdução: A Gastrostomia é um tipo de estoma que consiste na inserção de uma sonda na região gástrica, cujo objetivo é fornecer suporte nutricional. Apesar desse procedimento ser considerado uma opção para nutrição enteral, ainda é possível surgir algumas complicações associadas a essa via de alimentação. Objetivo: Analisar as principais complicações relacionadas à gastrostomia em pacientes atendidos em um Hospital Universitário.
Os tumores germinativos primários do sistema nervoso central compreendem menos de 5% de todos os tumores primários do referido sistema. Acometem, principalmente, pacientes com menos de 20 anos, do sexo masculino e asiáticos. A apresentação clínica frequente é hidrocefalia obstrutiva e hipertensão intracraniana associada a sinais oftalmológicos, ataxia, crises convulsivas e alterações do comportamento. Este artigo relata um caso de um paciente de 20 anos, com diagnóstico de germinoma de sistema nervoso central.

O fibrotecoma ovariano é um tipo de tumor estromal do cordão sexual que apresenta características intermediárias entre fibroma e tecoma, e se apresenta comumente como lesão sólida unilateral em mulheres no pós-menopausa. A ressecção cirúrgica é o tratamento primário, possuindo, de modo geral, caráter curativo, sendo, portanto, uma neoplasia de bom prognóstico. Este artigo relata o caso de uma paciente de 33 anos com diagnóstico de fibrotecoma que se apresentou como massa anexial à esquerda associada a dor pélvica e ascite.

The pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, the etiological agent of COVID-19, is highly infectious and until April 29, 2021, in 223 Countries, areas, or territories with cases, 148,999,876 people contracted the disease. Due to the importance of the pandemic, the objective for this study was defined: to determine the proportion of records of systematic review in the PROSPERO about COVID-19 and to identify their themes in the global context. As a method, the “mapping review” was chosen about the protocols registered in the period from December 1, 2019, to January 14, 2021.
Fronto-nasal-orbito-ethmoidal (FNOE) fractures result from complex high-energy trauma. They represent a therapeutic challenge and requires adequate surgical planning for the best functional and aesthetic patients recovery. The etiology is mainly related to car accidents and is more prevalent in men aged between 20 and 30 years. Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is commonly associated and multidisciplinary care in intensive unit is routinely necessary. The present work aims to describe a severe case of FNOE fracture associated with a le fort III fracture.

Objective: To know the consequences of the experience of pretrial detention for men in criminal proceedings for domestic violence. Methodology: Exploratory and descriptive study with a qualitative approach, conducted with 11 men who were being followed up at the specialized center for assistance to men who committed domestic and family violence located in the city of Belém, Pará, Brazil. Data collection was performed using the focus group technique, in the months of June and July 2018. The data were analyzed using the content analysis technique.
