Introduction: Parents who are deaf and hearing-impaired go through various difficulties when they need care for their child in some public sector. In health it is no different, many professionals are not able to provide care to the hearing child daughter of deaf parents, creating a barrier in communication and thus difficult the reception in an effective way. Introduction: Cardiorespiratory arrest can be defined as a sudden, unexpected cessation of systemic circulation related to lack of breathing, which may be reversible by immediate intervention. Area deprivation and cardiovascular risk

Socioeconomic status (SES) strongly impacts cardiovascular health. Increasing evidence demonstrated area deprivation is an independent indicator of cardiovascular risks such as increased prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors and higher cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality rates. Intervention at area-level of SES could achieve better effects in reducing risk factors and improving access to cardiac facilities.

Aging begins before birth and continues throughout life at different rates, in different races for different individuals and for different tissues of the body. Explaining why ageing occurs is a solution to the longstanding enigma of the role of senescence in nature and even after half a century of progress, the solution continues to unfold slowly but steadily. The healthcare professionals must prepare themselves to equip the above 50 years citizens to achieve healthy aging in a systematic fashion.

Nursing facing risk management and patient safety in the use of oxygen therapy

The study aimed to know how the protocols related to oxygen therapy are used in the work process of the nursing team with focus on risk and safety management of patients using this therapy. It is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research. The participants were nurses working in clinical, surgical, obstetrical and pediatric hospitalization units of a general hospital. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed according to thematic analysis. The results showed that there is no standardization of oxygen therapy practices.

Health care of Brazilian women working in clandestine mining sites within the French Amazon rainforest

Objective: This study aims to understand how health care is offered to Brazilian women working in clandestine mining sites in the French Amazon rainforest. Methodology: A qualitative study was carried out with 19 women working in clandestine mining sites in the French Amazon rainforest, who were predominantly aged between 30-39 years. A non-directive interview was conducted, recorded, and transcribed in its entirety. Data were analyzed through content analysis.
