Art atelier in Childhood Education and the Organization of Spaces and Environments in the Initial Teacher Training

The following presents reflections on the theme “organization of spaces and environments in Early Childhood Education and the aesthetic education of the teacher” based on the actions of teaching, research and extension developed with the students of Pedagogy and Fine Arts and teachers of Early Childhood Education at Belo Horizonte City Hall. We present in more detail the work developed throughout the subject “Art Atelier: aesthetic education, spaces, environments, in Early Childhood Education”, offered in the first semester of 2018.

The Production of podcast Summaries: Experiences with Portuguese and Brazilian Students

In this study, it is discussed whether students, when producing podcast summaries, evidence in their texts that they know the strategies of retextualization and whether they show self-regulated competence in doing so. 36 summaries were analyzed, produced by 12th grade high school students from a public school in northern Portugal and by 3rd grade middle school students in northeastern Brazil. For this, an instrument of analysis and quantitative weightings was built, seeking to better express the results. The median age was 17 years and females in 63.9%.

Work family conflict and job satisfaction: understanding care givers perspective within healthcare sector

This study examines the correlation between Work-Family Conflict (WFC) and Job Satisfaction (JS) for a sample of 100 nurses in the States of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, India. The study results revealed that nurses provided ratings ranging from moderate to high levels of job satisfaction, and there was a notable inverse relationship between Work-FamilyConflict (WFC) and Job Satisfaction (JS). WFC was shown to be a robust predictor of JS, accounting for 26% of the variance in Job Satisfaction.

Conservation of Irrigation tanks through Participation of their Beneficiaries for Sustainable Environment: A study in Select Districts of Tamilnadu

The main uses of irrigation tanks are mainly for irrigation, domestic purposes, fisheries, groundwater recharge (percolation tanks and ponds), shelter for birds and birds sanctuary, place for social forestry in general for forestation, flood regulators and drought mitigators. The conservation of Irrigation tanks one of the dimensions of environmental sustainability which aims at protection and promotion of the smallest water bodies viz., irrigation tanks situated in the rural area of semi-arid tropical parts of India.

A study on the Effectiveness of Leadership Behaviour of Principals of the General Degree Colleges in Nadia District of West Bengal

The principal plays an important role because he or she is the designated leader of the institution. The extents of cooperation from his colleagues as well as from other stakeholders depend to a great extent on the effectiveness of the principal’s leadership behavior. The investigator conducted the present study to reveal a clear picture of the effectiveness of the leadership behavior of principals of the general degree colleges in the Nadia District.

Influência de auditoria interna no desempenho organizacional das pequenas e médias empresas (pme’s) em Moçambique

A auditoria interna é uma ferramenta estratégica voltada para trazer confiabilidade e credibilidade às informações e movimentações contabilísticas da empresa, no entanto, é muito utilizada na prevenção de erros e fraudes. O estudo visa analisar a influência de auditoria interna no desempenho organizacional. A viabilização tornou-se possível por meio de métodos documental, bibliográfico, estatístico que também serviram de método de análise.

Ethics and professional deontology: An approach to the accounting profession in Mozambique

Professional ethics and deontology are basic principles in the actions of professionals in any area. In order to analyze the ethics and deontology of professionals in the accounting profession, a qualitative and applied study was carried out to understand the topic of ethics and deontology in accounting. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical research and case study were carried out where the sample consisted of 10 SMEs located in Maputo - Mozambique.

Continuing Discrimination Against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes

Historically, present-day Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe have suffered from various types of social exclusion, discrimination, and caste oppression under the traditional caste system. In the field of education, they were not allowed to acquire the knowledge. In the economic sphere, they were not allowed to accumulate wealth and were compelled to work for three classes above them (Brahmin, Kshatriya and Vaishya). In the social and cultural sphere, they were condemned to live a life of stigma and shame. In independent India caste-based disabilities and discrimination was abolished.
