Centrally located, it attracts a large number of job seeking migrants from the rural areas of entire Bangladesh on a continuous basis. Some of these job seeking migrants are readily absorbed in the urban informal service sector, which includes cycle rickshaw pulling.

Conceptions of public communication of science by coordinators of graduate programs in public health

Scientists communicate with their community with a specific scientific language code. Each field of science develops its proper hermetic code of scientific language, which is not accessible to non-pairs. We live in a historical cultural moment in which countries, particularly those with a reasonable scientific development, became knowledge societies in which citizens must participate in the processes of decisions about scientific politics. Thus, information on scientific research must be communicated in language accessible to the ordinary citizen.

Be emergency room: Representation of workers through a ludic intervention promoted by multi professional residence

Objective: To report a playful activity that prompted rethinking the emergency room and be the participation of the Multidisciplinary Residency in Emergency Department. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects on this study were students and teachers of Vocational High School of Karanganyar district, Central Java, Indonesia. Hospitality: the perspective of the users of the hospital cassems in relation to the hospital-hotel

The purpose of the manuscript was to evaluate the quality and satisfaction of the Cassems clients (Caixa de Servencia de Servicos do Mato Grosso do Sul) in relation to the hospital-hotel. It is a quantitative study in which structured questionnaires were used to the relatives, friends and companions of the patients. The deductive method was used for the treatment and interpretation of the data obtained in the research.

Dimensions of social and personal skills in children and adolescents: age and gender differences

Personal and social skills play a key role in children and adolescents’ development, as well as their psychological wellbeing. Was used the Scale "For me it’s Easy" to assess personal and social skills in children and adolescents. The study includes 960 Portuguese children and adolescents with a mean age of 12.5 years (SD = 1.61). Included were 56.8 % boys of different educational levels.

Nutritional status, cognitive development and plasmatic levels of zink and aluminum in children with Down syndrome

The present study evaluated nutritional status and cognitive development of children and adolescents with Down syndrome. In parallel, plasma concentrations of zinc and aluminum were determined. The research was carried out in Campo Grande, Middle Western Brazil. Thirty individuals from 6 to 16 years old participated in the study. The Human Figure Drawing test III for the assessment of cognitive development was used. The prevalence of overweight and obesity is high, exceeding the rates observed in children with typical development.

Materials and methods: The survey questionnaire consisted of 14 questions aimed towards evaluating the current practice in the use of luting agents for zirconia restorations by general dentists. This questionnaire was validated by a panel of senior prosthodontists and was sent to 1000 dental practitioners in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
