World wide, 39.4 million people are living with HIV/AIDS. In India, the number of HIV positive cases has risen to 5.3 million, and it is rising consistently. Women due to their vulnerability are facing the greatest challenge of handling this menace. HIV can also be transmitted through mother-to-child or through breast feeding to the infant was known to nearly fifty percent of the respondents.

Use of questions in qualitative research: How questions guided our study

Questions form a basis of any research project, underscoring the significance of teaching students how to use questions in various parts of research. Our involvement in supervising students conducting research projects and undertaking our own, have shown the need to use questions as a guide. This prompted us to share our experience on the use of questions to direct ‘the conduct’ and ‘writing’ of a research report using qualitative research tradition of inquiry. Questions were used to determine the topic for the study, select relevant literature to review and research design.

Sensory, chemical and nutritional characterization of sweet potato submitted to cooking process in water immersion

The study aim was to evaluate the sensory acceptability and the chemical and nutritional composition of different Brazilian sweet potato cultivars cooked under water immersion, in order to identify the most favorable genotypes for consumption. The cultivars varieties analysed were Amorano, Júlia, Valentina, UGA 29, UGA 34, UGA 45, UGA 49, UGA 79, UGA 80 e UGA 81. Species of sweet potatoes Júlia, UGA 45 e UGA 49 have shown higher sensory acceptability (p<0.05).

Epidemic of dengue and the occurrence of early neonatal death: an ecological study

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of dengue virus infection in pregnancy from 2007 to 2016. For this study we used data from the notification systems for live births and mortality in a Brazilian municipality of approximately 900 thousand inhabitants. Epidemic years were compared to endemic years, with rates related to clinical-obstetric and pediatric outcomes being calculated. Statistical difference was found for the coefficient of early neonatal mortality, which presented higher values in the epidemic years for dengue compared to the endemic years.

Two central issues prevail in this process: the metamorphosis of land into private property and the formation of a stock of land for the appropriation and domination of agribusiness in the region.

Strengthening the identity of tourism destination in bandung city with city branding

This research is motivated by the many and varied opportunities and potential attractions of shopping in the city of Bandung. The city of Bandung has a strong positive image as a tourist destination for shopping, therefore Bandung programs do activities, create and strengthen the image of city tours through city branding. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strengthening of city branding Bandung as a shopping destination, as well as elements and attributes that become the prerequisite strengthening the identity of shopping tourism city of Bandung with city branding.

Comparative analysis of bankers’ and customers’ perception towards the marketing of banking services
