Electrical energy audit evaluation in Jimma University

The research aimed at obtaining a detail idea about the various end uses of energy consumption activities and identifying, and evaluating the possible energy saving opportunities. Longitudinal design method was employed starting from October of 2013 to June of 2015. The findings of the research indicated the presence of various types of energy wasting electrical equipment and poor awareness of energy saving mechanism among staff and students of the university. Among the interviewed students 132(66%) of them are not turn off the light when they go to bed.

Control and silencing asymmetric power on two entity relationship in supply chain

Ownership or control of access to resources could give or make another organization depends on the organization. This condition causes resources owner's organization with its access to be more dominant compared to other organizations which need those resources or can be called asymmetric power. Previous studies show that asymmetric power could make both positive or negative impact to cooperative relationship. This study aims to analyze how to overcome asymmetric power so it won't make any negative impacts to cooperative relationship.

Study of inter-relationship of morpho-economic traits for formulation of effective selection strategy in sesame

Character association and path coefficient analysis were carried out in a set of sesame genotypes collected from different states of India. Capsules/plant followed by plant height, days to cessation of flowering, period of flowering, capsule length, height to first capsule and seeds/capsule revealed significant positive correlation with seed yield. In contrast, seed weight had negative relationship with seed yield. Oil content seems to be increased with duration of flowering period owing to their inter se significant positive relationship.

A glance to diabetic peripheral neuropathy

Neuropathic pain is defined as "pain initiated or caused by a primary lesion or dysfunction in the nervous system." Painful diabetic neuropathy (PDN) affects 16% of patients with diabetes, and it is frequently unreported (12.5%) and more frequently untreated (39%). Neuropathic pain is poorly managed by NSAIDs, and opioids have limited effectiveness because high doses are associated with adverse events. Treatments are needed for neuropathic pain that are effective but that cause a minimal risk of dependence or of other negative impacts on a patient's quality of life.

Effect of climate change on common crow butterfly’s fecundity

The temperature anomalies imposed different ecological and breeding diversification over the butterfly community. The study was conducted independently at different temperature conditions. The fecundity of common crow butterfly varied in different In-vitro climatic temperature. The minimum yield of egg and adult was obtained at high temperature - 37oC and the maximum was obtained at 25oC and 29oC. It was clearly pointed understanding of the impact of climatic variation over the fecundity rate.
