Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma in a Non-Smoking Young Individual: A Diagnostic Challenge - Case Report

This is a case report highlighting the diagnostic complexity of pulmonary adenocarcinoma in a young, healthy, non-smoking patient. The study focuses on diagnostic hypotheses leading to the definitive diagnosis, addressing signs and symptoms, found in imaging exams such as chest radiography, computed tomography, and biopsy.

Effects of Adding Curcumin on Quality of Post-Thawed Arabian Stallion Semen

The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of including curcumin antioxidant on the viability of sperm after the processes of cooling and freezing. curcumin antioxidant was used in HF-20 extender at concentrations of 0.32, 0.60, 1.30, and 2.71 µm/L. HF-20 extender was a basic extender and used for control group. The post-thawed semen exhibited significantly higher total motility in the 0.32 curcumin treatment groups as compared to others. The extender containing 0.32 µm/L curcumin showed a significantly higher in total motility compared to others.

Mature cystic teratoma of pancreas, a rare and incidental finding: Case Report

The article describes a rare case of a mature cystic teratoma discovered in the pancreas of a 45-year-old woman. Teratomas, originating from germ cells, have the unique ability to generate tissues from all three germ layers. Typically found in the ovaries or testes, pancreatic teratomas are exceedingly rare and often asymptomatic or present with nonspecific symptoms. Imaging revealed a heterogeneous lesion in the pancreas, composed of liquid, solid, fatty content, and calcifications.

Earlier studies have found that using smartphone functions during functional activity affects the dynamic balance. Purpose of the study: The purpose of the study was to determine the effects of smartphone multitasking on dynamic balance while performing the Y-Balance test.
