Na região amazônica, o sistema de corte e queima é a principal forma de preparo do solo na agricultura familiar. Desta forma, objetivou-se avaliar os impactos ambientais causados pela agricultura familiar via desflorestamento e uso do fogo na implantação de sistemas de cultivos. O estudo foi realizado na comunidade Castanhandeua, no Município de Moju, Pará. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com sete agricultores atendidos por um projeto de extensão do curso de agronomia do Instituto Federal do Pará, Campus Castanhal.

The importance of sustainable and efficient food production has driven the need for applying increasingly advanced approaches in farming and agriculture. To keep up with this need, farmers and future farmers need to be trained in the ways of precision agriculture. Background: The breast cancer burden in Africa according to GLOBOCAN 2018 was 168,690 cases and 74,072 deaths. This study evaluated the status of breast cancer awareness, attitude, and challenges among women in the two local government areas in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional descriptive study was carried out using the multistage sampling technique, and semi-structured interviewer-administered questionnaire to extract information on breast cancer awareness, attitude to breast cancer, and challenges.

O descolamento prematura da placenta (DPP) trata-se de uma complicação gestacional de etiologia não delimitada totalmente, sendo uma condição caracterizada por sangramento e dor, os mecanismos que desencadeiam o DPP são: insuficiência placentária, hipóxia intrauterina e subperfusãouteroplacentária, que tem como resultado o rompimento da artéria decídua materna e como consequência o vasoespasmo agudo que precede o descolamento. Todavia, o DPP é caracterizado pela separação precoce da placenta da parede uterina.
