Employees do recognize the importance of safety training and think of it as necessary in a holistic atmosphere where the Organization focusses on Safety management led by Visible Safety Leadership. Systematic and periodic safety training is important for employees to understand the purpose of the training sessions, why it will be useful to them, and how incidents can be reduced at workplace. Also the Safety Observations made by Leadership team at various level of organization during shop floor rounds and following up these points for closure shows their concern for safety.

Cities are defined predominantly as physical structures. These physical structures are mainly characterized by residential facilities and buildings. Housing in many studies is considered as a significant determiner and tool for socio-economic development. Housing, particularly,quality housing for many households in developing economies is highly complex and capital intensive. Many households are constrained with several factors in the quest for housing developments. The results of these are uncompleted houses.

A search for an environmentally safe and economically viable strategy for control of plant diseases has led to an increased use of plant based products in agriculture. To control the plant diseases, use of fungicides can impact the environment and human health. One method to eliminate these drawbacks is promoting induced protection. This study investigated the use of plants extracts and antagonistic fungi as a biological control of Drechslera graminea or as an inducer of protection in barley plant against the pathogen and also evaluated the possible mechanisms.

The experiment was conducted in plot No. 126 of E block, Main Agricultural Research Station (MARS), University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad during kharif, 2011. The geographical co-ordinates of the experimental site are 15026' N latitude and 75007'E longitude and an altitude of 678 m above mean sea level (MSL).The uptake of nutrients by maize increased significantly with incorporation of organic manures with RDF and the highest uptake was recorded in the treatment with PM.

The paper was aimed to assess the socio economic status of tribes of the Mysuru district of the Karnataka state. Three taluks of the Mysuru district were selected for the study based on their highly Schedule tribe populous status; H D Kote, Periyapatna and Hunsur. Primary survey of 500 households was carried out and the different socio economic statuses assessed were; caste, income, educational level, occupational structure, size of landholding, types of crop cultivation.

This paper aims to explore the endeavors of Vivekananda in empowering women and liberating Hindus from caste prejudice that were prevailing in Nineteenth Century Bengali society. Vivekananda tries to elevate women by adopting the equality of women to men through the equal sharing of divine soul (atman). He highlights those Hindu sacred texts that revered women and adopted a skeptical approach towards those Hindu holy texts that bitterly criticize women.

In addition, since Tāntric path is the path of yogic sādhanās, some of which are highly technical, a robust body and sound mind become a prerequisite for this path. Therefore, Tantras always advise to maintain physical and mental health.
