Coastal ecotourism-based development for fishermen settlement in labuan bajo, donggala, central sulawesi

Education Donggala has a potency which consists of the settlements of fishermen and coral cape that has attractiveness in natural and cultural tourism. The potency of the region should play an important role in the development of the region. It can be seen from the growth of tourist arrived from year to year, but the fishermen are generally still low-income. This fact is an interesting phenomenon to be further investigated to determine the various issues related to non-optimal development of fishermen settlement potency with coastal ecotourism potential.

UV/VIS Spectrometry with multivariate calibration as a new approach for the Chiral analysis of Fluoxetine

Nowadays, a large number of chiral analyses are needed, simple and rapid methods for the determination of the enantiomeric composition in pharmaceutical products should be developed. The fluoxetine belongs to the most prescribed antidepressant chiral drugs and its enantiomers have a different duration of serotonin inhibition. This study presents cheap and fast alternative to traditional chiral techniques for the determination of the fluoxetine enantiomeric composition by the combination of UV/VIS spectrometry and multivariate calibration.

Media organizations, mass and message

The problem is position of media and function of media organizations which gather available materials and form numerous messages due to their agenda and conduct policy of governments and lives of people. Media organizations gather all interesting materials in the world and form them through their policy and their ideological approaches and people get messages of media everyday.

Microbial biotransformation of α -(+) - pinene by newly identified strain of Gluconobacter Japonicus mtcc 12284

A newly identified acetic acid bacterial strain Gluconobacter japonicus MTCC 12284 isolated from decayed yellow orange citrus fruits (mandarins) collected from distant locations in Navi Mumbai fruit market biotransformed the terpene hydrocarbon α-(+)-pinene and produced valuable aromatic chemicals, verbenol, verbenone, alpha terpineol and trans-sobrerol. Products were identified by mass spectrometry and quantified by gas chromatography.

Mapping global to local carbon inequities in climate governance- a conceptual framework

Earth systems are increasingly becoming vulnerable to rampant use, misuse and abuse of natural resources by the humankind, carbon being the most critical. Across the globe, there is an unprecedented demand of fossil-carbon to fuel national economies, while it is their urban centres that act as the guzzling engines of energy and carbon rich fuels. As the world urbanizes further, the 21st century poses a serious challenge in tinkering the global inequities in access and allocation of carbon.

Investigating inter-district disparity in RCH care utilization status in India, 2002-2007

Using data from the District Level Household and Facility Survey (DLHS) of 2002-04 and 2007-08, and 61st round of National Sample Survey (2004-05), this paper examines the district-level (inter-district) disparity in reproductive and child health (RCH) care utilization status in India. Ranking of districts is done and coefficient of variation is used to assess the degree of district-level variation in RCH care status. Lorenz curve is drawn to examine the district-level inequality in RCH care utilization.

A quasi experimental study to assess the effectiveness of jacobson's progressive muscle relaxation (JPMR) training on anxiety level of alcoholic patients admitted for de-addiction in selected hospitals, Jalandhar,

A Quasi Experimental study to assess the effectiveness of Jacobson's Progressive Muscle Relaxation (JPMR) Training on anxiety level of alcoholic patients admitted for de-addiction in selected hospitals, Jalandhar, Punjab. The aim of the study is to assess the effectiveness of Jacobson's Progressive Muscle Relaxation (JPMR) training on anxiety level of alcoholic patients admitted for de-addiction. Results depicted that the mean pre training anxiety score of experimental group was 22.26 and mean post training score was 7.93.

Role of pilu (toothbrush tree) in periodontal health

Meticulous plaque control on a daily routine basis is the single most important step to achieve good oral health. Herbal chewing sticks, commonly known as pilu are among the ancient and traditional oral hygiene aids popular in India, Pakistan, most of the Arabian countries, and several African countries. But nowadays, because of low cost, free availability, unique chemical composition, and spiritual beliefs, Pilu is being used worldwide. A large number of studies have proved that Pilu is as effective as, or even superior to the present day′s most common oral hygiene aid, i.e., toothbrush.
