This paper outlines the ethics based on the perspective of digital citizenship, encompassing the efforts of contemporaneous society to empower and legitimize, through ethical behaviors and appropriate actions, the efficient use of technology, as well as the development of citizenship and the digital inclusion of students with ASD, by facing the contemporary technological challenges.

The present article discusses, from the analysis of the constitutional text, how the fundamental procedural rights have been enshrined in Brazilian history. Throughout the evolutionary analysis of the constitutional text, the predominant political environment that served as a context for the changes on the subject is presented.

O presente estudo aborda um breve histórico da vida e obra do matemático húngaro George Pólya como prelúdio para o objetivo do mesmo, que se centra na análise da demonstração feita por ele do Teorema de Pitágoras, dada pela identidade c2=a2 + b2 , onde a, b e c são números positivos. O referencial teórico apresenta definições de semelhança e razão de semelhança entre áreas de figuras planas. A metodologia é alicerçada na forma qualitativa por meio de análise documental da demonstração do autor publicada em seu livro Induction and Analogy in Mathematics.

In the Amazon, the production of wine of acai berry generates a large amount of waste, as only between 5% and 15% of the total fruit is consumed. One of the ways of using this residue is through the production of briquettes or pellets. Thus, the objective of this research was to evaluate the effects of the densification process on the properties of briquettes obtained from acai berry seeds.

Objetivou-se investigar se ocorre polimorfismo Glu298Asp do gene óxido nítrico sintase endotelial (eNOS) em um grupo de pacientes com vitiligo e comparar as frequências dos genótipos com um grupo controle da região Centro Oeste do Brasil. O presente estudo incluiu 51 pessoas adultas com vitiligo e 51 pessoas controles. As amostras de sangue total foram obtidas por coleta de sangue venoso periférico em tubo contendo o anticoagulante EDTA, em seguida, realizou-se a extração do DNA. A genotipagem do polimorfismo Glu298Asp foi realizada por análise de PCR-RFLP.

Cervical cancer is caused by long-lasting infection by some subtypes of Human Papillomavirus - HPV. Although early detectable and often preventable, it is one of the types of neoplasms that most affect women, being considered a serious public health problem for the world. Thus, this study aimed to describe the factors associated with the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer in the state of Piauí.

O presente artigo se refere a uma investigação científica interdisciplinar, consistindo no mapeamento etnobotânico das plantas medicinais utilizadas pela comunidade tradicional do Quilombo Santo Antônio dos Pretos no município de Codó-Maranhão/Brasil, tendo em vista o papel fitoterápico para curar males e enfermidades, além dos aspectos socioeconômicos e culturais no seu emprego medicinal.

Embora a comunidade científica afirme que a energia sustentável possa ser alcançada através de sistemas de energia renovável, um caminho mais prático e mais rápido para alcançar as metas ambientais se baseia na promoção da eficiência energética. O setor terciário desempenha um papel importante neste tema devido ao relevante consumo de energia. O objetivo deste artigo é estimar o perfil de consumo de energia de um hospital de pequeno porte localizado no Nordeste do Brasil.

Background: The incidence of Type-2 DM continues to increase whereas new agents are involved in treatment options. No sufficient data are available on the rate changes regarding diabetic achievements in the Turkish population over the years. Objectives: In the study, we aimed to evaluate the 2008 and 2018 data of type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients followed in the diabetes outpatient clinic of our hospital in terms of diabetic achievements and treatment preference.
