The objective is to study the climatic variability of the elements, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, average temperature, thermal amplitude, relative humidity, wind intensity, evapotranspiration, evaporation as well as to evaluate the estimate of the climatological water balance for the municipality of Camalaú, Paraíba. Monthly and annual precipitation data, referring to the 52-year period of observed data (1962-2014), from which graphs of annual variations, monthly and seasonal averages of precipitation were obtained to satisfactorily represent the region's rainfall regime.

Devido elevado crescimento populacional de forma desordenada inúmeros problemas do ponto de vista urbano surgiram aos quais se destacam a destinação indevida dos resíduos sólidos urbanos. O município de Gurupi- TO, localizado no sul do Tocantins, apesar de ser a terceira maior cidade do Estado apresenta problemas no que se refere à disposição irregular destes resíduos. O objetivo deste artigo é investigar a existência de depósitos irregulares de resíduos sólidos urbanos na cidade.

The person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for a long time was excluded from the society, and in educational terms, its historical trajectory ranges from exclusion, passing through segregation or special schools, followed by integration with special classrooms in common schools, until the inclusion proposal that takes force at the end of the 20th century, considering that especially in Brazil, since 1988, through the Federal Constitution, policies public schools have guided the process of inclusion in the regular school system.

Introduction: Endometriosis is a chronic, inflammatory disease characterized by endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity and manifested by cyclic pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, and dyspareunia. In women with hormone-resistant pain associated with endometriosis, surgical treatment should be considered. Recently, robotic surgery has been referred to as an alternative to conventional laparoscopic surgery as a therapeutic approach in cases of endometriosis.

Objective: To verify the relationship between anthropometric measures and left ventricular hypertrophy, as assessed by the Cornell Index, in obese hypertensive patients. Methods: Cross-sectional study with obese hypertensive patients of both genders, aged ≥ 20 years, treated as outpatients between 1996 and 2011 at the Hypertension Clinic of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. Data collected included age, blood pressure, heart rate, and anthropometric parameters: body mass index, waist/height ratio, waist/hip ratio, and abdominal circumference.

The adsorption isotherms of ciprofloxacin (CIP) by the spent coffee grounds (SCGs) was investigated. The adsorption isotherms were well described by the Langmuir model. This suggested that the strong interaction of CIP with the SCGs. Therefore, SCGs, as a green, environmental-friendly adsorbent, can be applied to the adsorption of contaminants in environment.

The developments achieved by electric machines in recent decades were more significant in terms of their resizing and in the ways in which they are activated than in the field of materials used for their manufacture. The electric machine project proposes the improvement of the technology of a three-phase synchronous machine through changes in the material and in the manufacturing process of the rotor and stator cores.

O estudo trata sobre o currículo escolar em meio à cultura digital, uma vez que esta já é uma realidade da atual sociedade, constatada pelas políticas que fazem a educação e pelos estudiosos da área, adquire papel cada vez mais significativo no campo da educação. Faz uma análise de como a escola atual integra o currículo escolar com as tecnologias digitais da educação, assim como os sentidos que são produzidos pelos profissionais de educação acerca da cultura digital. Além disso, aborda caminhos para uma educação inovadora diante dos desafios da educação digital.
