Capability and challenges of employees in running public services in administrative-post Baguia, Baucau municipality

Faustino Simões de Carvalho, 19.06.24.02.119, a master's program student who has conducted research entitled "Capabilities and Challenges of the State Civil Apparatus in providing services to the public at the Administrative-post Bagui, Baucau Municipality. The exposure in this study was motivated by field observations, identifying that there were problems related to employee abilities and challenges in implementing services at the administrative post, such as discipline in working hours, lack of resources, and lack of facilities so that the impact on service quality was minimal.

Use of antidepressants by students of a nutrition course

Introduction: Depression is a constant mood disorder and becoming worrisome. It occurs in all age groups, and its incidence is higher among young and elderly people. Exposure to the university environment, which is often exhausting, and changes in daily life can make young students more likely to use antidepressants. Objective: To identify and characterize the use of antidepressants by students enrolled in the Nutrition course of a higher education institution of a private university in the interior of the state of São Paulo, in the midwest of São Paulo.

Reproducibility analysis and reference values for the tibiocalcaneal angle, the calcaneal-first metatarsal angle and the metatarsus adductus angle: systematic review and meta-analysis

Objectives: Primarily, this systematic review aimed to critically appraise, compare, and summarize or meta-analyze reliability coefficients of the tibiocalcaneal angle (TCA), the calcaneal – first metatarsal angle (C1MA) and the metatarsus adductus angle (MAA), and secondly, to estimate reference values of these measurements for adults.

Anxiety in the elderly and its relation with sociodemographic and clinical aspects

Objective: To identify the occurrence of anxiety in the elderly and to verify the relations between anxiety and clinical and sociodemographic variables. Methods: An exploratory descriptive study with a quantitative approach conducted in the geriatric outpatient clinic in the university hospital located in João Pessoa, Brazil. Data were collected using an instrument with sociodemographic and clinical variables, brief history of mental health and Geriatric Anxiety Inventory, applied to a sample of 80 elderly people.

Aspectos comportamentais e o impacto da educação assistida por animais em crianças no contexto escolar: um estudode caso

A educação assistida por animais (EAA) caracteriza pelo uso de animais como meio na promoção de estratégias de ensino. Essa prática pode ser aplicada em diversos públicos, incluindo alunos que apresentam comportamentos com indicativos de fragilidades com relação às habilidades sociais, como foi o caso na presente pesquisa. Este estudo, portanto, é uma descrição da experiência da equipe do projeto Zooterapia no contexto escolar, cujo objetivo é verificar os benefícios da EAA numa criança de três anos que apresentava comportamento indicativo de fragilidade nas habilidades sociais.

Multidisciplinary care in the treatment of the elderly with fractures: an integrative review

Introduction: Injuries involving hip and femur are one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in the elderly, affecting both physical and functional capacity. The introduction of multidisciplinary programs in fracture management is being used more and more and has shown a positive outcome in senile fractures. Objective: To assess the impact of multidisciplinary care in elderly patients with fractures in terms of mortality, time elapsed until surgery, length of hospital stays, quality of life, ability to walk in the postoperative period and prevention of falls.

Technological prospecting of lippia with anti-hypertensive activity

Cardiovascular diseases are evaluated as a public health problem. They are directly related to the development of chronic injuries such as systemic arterial hypertension (SAH). Some secondary metabolites of medicinal plants have antihypertensive properties. Thus, the aim of this work is to investigate the potential for technological prospecting of the genus Lippia as a possible anti-hypertensive agent.

O artigo aborda sobre as metodologias ativas, suas diversas definições, e como contribuem para o processo escolar que envolve prática de ensino, aluno e professor. Assim, cabe refletir sobre as metodologias ativas e as alternativas que o seu uso proporciona no ambiente escolar, levando em conta os vários modelos de ensino, o processo de adquirir o conhecimento, os métodos que serão utilizados para esse fim, e analisando ainda a contribuição dessas variáveis no tocante à inclusão escolar do aluno com necessidades educacionais específicas e ao papel do professor nesse contexto.

Case study of covid-19 in patients admitted to a campaign hospital in the city of recife: a retrospective study

Since it was detected in November 2019, the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), has been expanding across different continents, having been characterized as the cause of the COVID-19 pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020.This is a study descriptive and retrospective of patients diagnosed with COVID-19, hospitalized in a field hospital in the city of Recife in the period from April 2020 to September 2020.
