The objective of the present work was to discuss the proposal for the temporary hiring of firefighters from the perspective of Weberian rationality as an expression of legal domination in the nation-state. The methodology consisted of a documentary research, analyzing, in the light of the Weberian theory, the process concerning the legislation for the admission of new professional firefighters in Brazil.

As medidas de controle, implantadas a nível mundial, para redução dos riscos de contágio atingem a sociedade a níveis políticos, econômicos e sociais. A educação, neste deste diapasão, enfrenta obstáculos dentro da maior interrupção de aprendizagem da história da humanidade.
The disorder between beneficial microorganisms and pathogens generates dysbiosis. Probiotics balance the environment and demonstrate efficacy in the prevention and treatment of neoplasms. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the probiotics Lactobacillus helveticus and Bifidobacterium bifidum, isolated or combined, on the carcinogenic effect induced by 1,2-dimethylhydrazine in rats. Six different experimental groups were used, containing six animals each, and the treatment occurred for six weeks.
Introdução: O acidente vascular cerebral (AVC) é definido como um déficit neurológico decorrente da interrupção do fluxo vascular cerebral. As alterações biomecânicas geradas pelo AVC como alterações posturais e déficit de controle de tronco, corroboram para comprometimento da mecânica respiratória e diminuição da força muscular respiratória. Objetivo: Avaliar a força muscular respiratória em pacientes acometidos por AVC. Materias e Métodos: É um estudo observacional transversal, composto por 29 indivíduos com sequela de AVC, ambos os gêneros, com idades entre 22 e 78 anos.

Early detection of external root resorption (ERR) is important for the adoption of an appropriate treatment plan in order to avoid greater damage in root structures. The present study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of digital subtraction radiography (DSR) for detecting root resorptions in maxillary central incisors. The ERRs were simulated and analyzed through digital radiographs and DSR methods.This study selected 36 maxillary central incisors with healthy roots. The teeth had their original root length reduced by 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2.0 mm in the apical-coronal direction.
The object of the article contemplates the dimensions of natural resources, environmental resources and territorial resources in the Marajó Archipelago. The objective of the article is to relate the projects exploring natural resources, especially those related to the research and exploration of oil and gas derivatives, with the need to preserve environmental resources, especially the Biodiversity Conservation and Protection Units. With regard to territorial resources, the difficulties of local development will be considered based on the analysis of some human development indicators.
O presente instrumento de pesquisa propõe-se a realizar uma abordagem acerca da implementação da Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais, (Lei nº 13.709/2018), no Brasil, sob a ótica da efetivação dos Direitos Fundamentais de Liberdade, Privacidade e Livre Desenvolvimento da Personalidade. O estudo inicia-se com a apresentação dos principais aspectos da LGDP, segue, então, para a contextualização da criação da referida norma jurídica, bem como perpassa, também, pela análise dos Direitos Fundamentais nela inserida.
Molecular modeling of taurine (TAU), homotaurine (HOTAU)) and glyciltaurine (GLYTAU) with a good approximation confirmed the structural data previously obtained by the X-ray technique for these compounds, thus confirming the suitability of the Spartan program to perform calculations with two amino acids and a dipeptide containing sulfonic radical SO3H.The calculation of bond lengths and bond angles provided new structural information on TAU, HOTAU and GLYTAU in which selenium and tellurium were substituted for sulfur of the functional group.
Background: Heart failure is the leading diagnosis at hospital discharge for elderly patients. At least part of the extreme mortality and morbidity of HF has been considered attributable to the existence of co-morbid conditions. Perhaps one of the most important comorbidities in terms of pathophysiology, prognosis and treatment of HF is the co-existence of renal failure. Aim: The present study aims to observe the occurrence of acute kidney injury in patients in critical condition hospitalized due to decompensated heart failure.
