One of the major problems of Brazilian agriculture is the contamination of soils as a result of industrial processes, like a toxic metal contamination. Among these contaminants, lead is a heavy metal known to be harmful to human health and the environment. Given these facts, some methods were created to remove these contaminants from the soil, such as the phytoremediation technique.
É evidente em mete estudos realizados ao longo dos tempos sobre uso de plantas medicinais no tratamento de algumas condições e patologias visto que, as plantas possuem substancias eficazes no tratamento de diversas condições, assim este estudo teve como objetivo; averiguar o uso de plantas medicinais por mulheres acompanhadas na atenção básica, no tratamento de algumas patologias em um município no interior do estado do Piauí. Este estudo foi adquirido através da analises de uma pesquisa quantitativa analítica prospectiva de dissertação de mestrado.

Introduction: At rest, a person's normal heart rate (HR) varies between 60 and 100 heart beats per minute, above that it is considered tachycardia, and blood pressure (BP) must be within the recommended parameters. In this study we will discuss the effect of a resistance exercise intervention on HR and BP. Objective: To evaluate if there is a decrease in HR and BP parameters with the regular practice of resistance physical exercise for 8 weeks. Methodology: Cross-sectional, exploratory study with quantitative analysis of the results.

Objetivo: Este estudo objetivou identificar as principais características da assistência de enfermagem frente a pandemia por Covid-19 em seus diferentes níveis de atenção à saúde. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, descritiva, exploratória e de abordagem qualitativa.

Este estudo teve como objetivo descrever a atenção à mulher no climatério promovida por profissionais de enfermagem na estratégia da saúde da família. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa de campo do tipo descritiva de caráter exploratório, com abordagem quantitativa, realizada com profissionais de enfermagem que atuam nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde da zona Urbana da cidade de José Freitas-Piauí. Entre os profissionais entrevistados 09 (100%) eram do sexo feminino. Onde 98% dos profissionais referiram haver diferenças entre o climatério e menopausa.

Objective: To evaluate deaths due to external causes, which occurred in adolescents in the city of Teresina-Piauí. Methodology: This was a quantitative, documentary, retrospective research based on secondary data from the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS) and Mortality Information System (SIM). Results: The present study analyzed a total of 1,010 deaths from external causes in adolescents in the city of Teresina Piauí in the period from 2006 to 2016. Among the main causes of deaths, transport accidents stood out.
