Esta pesquisa pretendeu aplicar uma nova metodologia de ensino com o estudo dos “mapas conceituais”, no qual esta ferramenta é capaz de organizar e mostrar o conhecimento de forma muito clara, além de demonstrar como as informações interagem.
This article describes the approach of the systems engineering to develop a Video Surveillance System. It used the concepts of integrated development and total vision framework as lines of direction for concept of the related system. The approach adopted the analysis of the interactions between product, process and organization during all the life cycle.
Defensins represent an important group of antimicrobial peptides and are expressed in the skin and other tissues of various mammalian species. These peptides participate in innate immunity, aiding in the immune response. The objective of this work was to compare the levels of β-defensin gene expressions (cBD1 and cBD103) in skin scrapings of the Poodle dogs with and without dermatitis. Eight dogs with dermatitis and 13 healthy dogs from the Veterinary Hospital and privately owned had collected skin scrapings. RNA extraction was obtained by Trizol® reagent.
A study was conducted to determine the effect of supplementing basal Rhodes grass hay with dried Calliandra leaves and common Vetch hay on growing dairy goats on voluntary feed intake and growth rate under a confined feeding system. A total of twelve weaned male Toggenburg crosses aged between 3 and 4 months were randomly allocated to 3 dietary treatments in a randomized complete block design. T1: Rhodes grass hay as the control, T2: 30% Calliandra + Basal diet, T3: 30% Vetch + Basal diet. The initial 10 days were allowed for adaptation to the diets and data collected for 8 weeks.
O trabalho teve como objetivo realizar palestras e sensibilizar alunos da rede pública do ensino médio sobre a importância socioambiental das abelhas nativas e sua importância como atividade sustentável e geradora de renda.O trabalho foi desenvolvido no meliponário do Laboratório de Genética e Biologia Molecular Warwick Estevam Kerr – LabWick/Dbio/CECEN no Campus Paulo VI da Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (UEMA) em São Luís, durante a Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia de 2019.
Objective: establish the spatial distribution of syphilis cases in pregnant women in the Belém-PA city and analyze its incidence, correlating its occurrence with characteristics. Method: this study is ecological, longitudinal, descriptive and inferential cross-sectional that was carried out in the Belém-PA city, in the period of 2017 and 2018.
Objective: to understand the psychosocial care of users of psychoactive substances in a Center of Psychosocial Attention of Alcohol and Other Drugs through their perception and voice. Method: This is a qualitative approach study with exploratory character. The field of this study was the Center of Psychosocial Attention of Alcohol and Other Drugs of the city of Sant' Ana do Livramento– Rio Grande do Sul. The data was collected through the Narrative Focal Group technique, performed with 9 users, and the audio was recorded and transcribed in its entirety.
Objetivo: avaliar o perfil epidemiológico de indivíduos que cometeram suicídio no Rio Grande do Sul, no período entre 2010 e 2018. Método: estudo descritivo com dados sobre suicídio e variáveis sociodemográficas obtidos no Sistema de Informação sobre Mortalidade (SIM) através do programa ‘Tabwin’ do Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS) do Brasil. Para comparar as médias de suicídios entre sexos foi utilizado o teste t Student (nível de significância de 5%).
This article describes or recognizes facial and compared expressions as active emotions when using audiovisuals. This study investigated the parameters of facial expressions with the use of audiovisual information in the perception of emotions. Participants volunteer to enjoy two types of music videos. The videos were selected in two styles (pop / rock and classical music). The listening task and the answers are intended to investigate the emotional perception of those being tested. There is a difference between the styles of music used during the study.
In South-eastern region of Viet Nam, Sai Gon river not only provides drinking water for million people, but also supports biodiversity of local freshwater ecosystem. However, due to development of industry and agriculture, the river is continuously loaded with xenobiotics released by anthropogenic activities. Among pollutants, heavy metals are considered as the most toxic elements to aquatic living organisms and human health.
