Objetivo: Determinar os diagnósticos de enfermagem em pacientes com Doença Renal Crônica-DRC e verificar sua relação com as variáveis sóciodemográficas Método: Estudo transversal realizado em uma clínica de nefrologia localizada no Nordeste brasileiro, de outubro de 2015 a fevereiro de 2016. Utilizou-se um questionário para entrevista e roteiro para o exame físico. Os dados foram analisados por meio do programa Statistical Package for the Social Science®, versão 22.0.

The study aimed to describe the knowledge, the praxis and the main barriers faced by the nursing team in the prevention of pressure injuries in the adultintensive therapyunit. Integrativeliterature review performed in April 2020 in the LILACS, BDENF and IBECS databases. It was identified that the main tools used by nursing professionals for the prevention of Pressure Injuries (PSIs) are: Bradenscale, cushions, decubitus change and bedstorage.

Preconceito racial pode ser definido como um conjunto de pensamentos e sentimentos que sejam pejorativos em relação ao povo negro, fruto da internalização de representações sociais deturpadas em relação a avaliação, crenças e afetos pré determinados de maneira negativa. Objetivo: Apresentar uma revisão bibliográfica de literatura do tipo explicativa para assim apresentar uma narrativa acerca de estudos sobre o racismo no Brasil e o papel do psicólogo enquanto atuante na promoção da igualdade racial e luta para o fim do racismo.

Objetivo: avaliar a adesão à TARV em pessoas vivendo com HIV frente ao ao perfil sociodemográfico, clínico e comportamental de saúde. Material e métodos:estudo quantitativo, descritivo e transversal, desenvolvido com 40 pessoas vivendo com HIV em uso da TARV. A coleta ocorreu entre os meses de agosto a outubro de 2018. Para obtenção dos dados referentes à adesão à TARV utilizou-se o instrumento CEAT-VIH.

Effective mental retardation education and involvement care of mental retardation children to remain continuum care involvement activities of mentally challenged children for the foreseeable future. Objective: This experimental study aimed to explore how parents acquire knowledge and skills in assessing and managing involvement care of mentally challenged children. Method: Research Design: A quasi experimental pre-test-post-test control group design. Setting; Auditorium hall at Life Help Centre, Chennai. Participants: parents whose children attended Life Help Centre.

Objective: To understand the social representations of maternal mourning for women who have experienced it. Method: Descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach, based on Serge Moscovici's Theory of Social Representations. For data analysis, the Bardin Content Analysis Technique was used.

Introduction: Stroke is the second leading cause of death in the world and in developing countries. It is a pathology causing many disability situations and is a medical emergency because of its potential severity; the short-term vital prognosis may be engaged. The objective of our study is to evaluate the epidemiological aspects of this condition in the the Army Teaching Hospital OMAR BONGO ONDIMBA (HIA OBO) Patients and method: Prospective and descriptive study from 1st August 2017 to 28th February 2018 at HIAOBO.

The authors are commenting on the study entitled: “Clinical characteristics and outcome of posterior cystoid macular degeneration in chronic central serous chorioretinopathy” published by Mohabati et al. in Retina Journal 2020;40(9):1742-1750, which evaluated clinical characteristics and visual outcome in 62 chronic central serous chorioretinopathy patients (83 eyes) with posterior cystoid retinal degeneration.

Objetivo: refletir sobre o protagonismo da Enfermagem e seus impactos no enfrentamento da COVID-19. Método: trata-se de ensaio teórico reflexivo, com base em análises de reuniões científicas sobre a pandemia da COVID-19 no ano de 2020. Argumentações reflexivas foram desenhadas sobre dois eixos temáticos, enaltecendo o protagonismo da Enfermagem no enfrentamento da COVID-19 e os impactos que a infecção produz para a Enfermagem brasileira. Resultados: Ainda são insuficiente os equipamentos de proteção individual e condições inadequadas de trabalho.
