Pain is characterized as an unpleasant, subjective sensation associated with an injury real or potential. Its involvement in physiological, cognitive and behavioral variables is recognized, considering the determinant complaints of people who seek treatment in health services. One of the means appreciated in the therapeutic environment to reduce painful symptoms is the use of the acupuncture technique, a process that takes place by redirecting and realigning energy, through the stimulation of specific points.

Financial resources are described as materials of monetary value which can be expended on expenditure items. Individuals and organizations such as public secondary schools need financial resources to carry out operation in order to achieve objectives. Availability of financial resources to public secondary schools in Ebonyi State refers to both the percentage of government expenditure allocated to the sector and the ones raised from other sources by principals. These financial resources ought to be effectively utilized to achieve goals.

The authors are commenting on the study entitled :“Comparing the efficacy of bevacizumab and ranibizumab in patients with retinal vein occlusion” published by Vader et al. in Ophthalmology Retina 2020;4(6):576-587,which compared the efficacy of intravitreal injections of bevacizumab to ranibizumab in the treatment of retinal vein occlusion– emergent macular edema. The study found that best-corrected visual acuity gain, anatomic outcomes, and safety were remarkably equivalent at 6 months in both treatment arms.

It is a rare condition by intense purple discoloration of urine bag. Although typically 'benign'. This study aimed to know traffic homicide repercussions in the life of the supposed causer of the accident. The research is qualitative, with ten drivers responding to criminal proceedings for negligence causing death in traffic. The thematic categories were: traffic accident history; feelings experienced during and after the accident; behavioral changes after the accident; legal repercussions after the traffic accident. The history of traffic accident was reported as a description of how it happened, with the exemption of the author´s responsibility for the fact.

Objective: To correlate urinary sodium excretion in isolated sample with 24-hour urine and glomerular filtration rate in patients with chronic kidney disease. Material and Methods: Cross-sectional study with 185 patients. Urinary sodium excretion was evaluated in 24-hour urine and in isolated sample. The statistics used the Student or Mann Whitney t tests and Pearson or Spearman’s correlation coefficients. Results: 58.9% were women, mean age of 59.8±12.1 years.

A mastectomia é um procedimento cirúrgico que pode acarretar diversos agravos na vida da mulher diagnosticada com câncer de mama. Dentre estes, pode-se destacar os que acometem o seu psiquismo e consequentemente sua qualidade de vida, ressaltando as dificuldades associadas à satisfação sexual. A pesquisa é classificada como descritiva, de caráter exploratório com abordagem qualitativa. O estudo foi realizado com oito mulheres que passaram pela cirurgia de mastectomia. Como técnica para a exploração dos dados empíricos coletados, foi utilizada a análise de conteúdo de Bardin.

Objective: To develop and validate the content of a care plan for children with kidney diseases. Method: Content validation study using the Delphi technique carried out with 34 specialist nurses in the first round and 22 in the second round. The steps were: identification of nursing diagnoses, outcomes and interventions, elaboration of the care plan and content validation by specialists. The content validity index was used in the twophases of the Delphi method. Results: A care plan was elaborated with 11 nursing diagnoses, 15 nursing outcomes and 22 nursing interventions.

Historically, the division based only on biological sex is old, this perception has changed over time and across cultures. The objective of this work is to report the experiences of logistics in the hospitalization of transgender and transvestite people in a mixed mental health ward of a large public hospital in the city of Uberlândia. This is a descriptive study, type of experience report, which describes the activities developed in the face of hospitalization of transgender and transvestite patients in a mixed psychiatric ward.

Agroforestry home gardens are one of the most important production systems due to their intensive production, providing a diversity of products for local use, contributing to the quality of life of the population and maintaining various products for family consumption, in addition to generating marketable surpluses, collaborating with the regional economy. This study evaluated the importance of agroforestry home gardens in food production and supplementing the income of small rural producers in the Boa Esperança community, in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo, Amazonas, Brazil.
