Objective: The aim of the present study was to characterize fatigue in women with breast cancer who underwent chemotherapy treatment under the behavioral dimension of the Revised Piper Scale. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive, cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, conducted at the Outpatient Clinic of a Breast Pathology Clinic of the Pernambuco Cancer Hospital (PCH).

Orthognathic surgery aims to restore the balance between the face and the skull, favoring a significant improvement in masticatory, respiratory, phonetic and facial aesthetics. However, during and after the procedure, some complications can be observed in patients. The objective of this systematic review was to assess in the scientific literature the main complications associated with orthognathic surgery during the intra and postoperative period. A systematic literature review was performed using Science Direct, Embase, Cochrane Collaboration Library and PubMed/MEDLINE as databases.

The present study aims to describe the practices of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists residents in the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Family Health Strategy at the State University of Pará from the perspective of different models of Primary Health Care. Therefore, it is a descriptive study of qualitative approach. The data were obtained by surveying the practice records of the actions carried out by the categories and by analyzing two reflective reports on the first year of the practices as a resident in Primary Health Care in the period from March to December 2019.

Objetivo: Refletir a respeito das concepções sobre o cuidado clínico de enfermagem à luz da teoria do conforto de Kolcaba envolvendo parturientes de alto risco. Metodologia: Estudo reflexivo acerca da temática cuidado clínico de enfermagem a parturientes de alto risco fundamentado na teoria do conforto de Kolcaba.

Nas últimas décadas, a formação dos profissionais de saúde, bem como a metodologia envolvida nesse processo, tornou-se ponto relevante a ser discutido devido à influência na resolução dos problemas de saúde da população em geral. Apesar dos movimentos de transformação, a educação dos estudantes de enfermagem ainda é, na maioria das vezes, baseada em um modelo fragmentado do saber, desconsiderando as necessidades de atuação na prática e representando um processo de ensino-aprendizagem centrado no saber do professor, no conteúdo disciplinar e na reprodução dos conteúdos por memorização.

This work aims to understand the educator profession at the time of the Brazilian Military Regime (1964-1985) through the memories of Nildes Lima Alencar. The work intends too to analyze the lived professor experiences through his professor condition, understanding her conceptions about education and educational practice, and unveiling the political interferences in the teaching practice of that educator.

We studied the etiological structure of urinary tract infection (UTI) in 51 preterm infants and the etiology of asymptomatic bacteriuria in 60 preterm infants with body weight at birth from 780 g to 3000 g and gestational age from 27 to 37 weeks. Urine culture was carried out by Gould quantitative method from 3 to 6 times in the dynamics of observation. Most UTI pathogens are represented by gram negative microorganisms. Most often (48-50%) bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae are found among them.

Este artigo tem como objetivo realizar uma discussão bibliográfica das particularidades do papel das esquerdas no período que antecede o Golpe de 1964, principalmente as alianças entre o Partido Comunista Brasileiro (PCB) e a Frente de Mobilização Popular (FMP). Para isso, confrontou-se, principalmente, os textos de Jorge Ferreira, Denis de Moraes, Carla Brandalise e Marluza Harres, a fim de perceber, no contexto do Golpe Militar de 1964, qual a concepção de esquerdas e os papéis assumidos por elas.

A busca constante pela beleza tem se destacado em diversas áreas da saúde, inclusive na Odontologia. Diante disso, observa-se a utilização de muitas substâncias com finalidade harmônica e estética. Nesse sentido, surge a utilização dos agregados plaquetários autólogos. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho é, a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica, avaliar como a utilização de agregados plaquetários podem gerar benefícios na harmonização orofacial, devido suas características morfo-fisiológicas.

Metabolic syndrome (MS) is a group of metabolic, anthropometric and homodynamic modifications, including intolerance to glucose, abdominal obesity, dyslipidemia and hypertension. Either isolated or mainly combined, these factors increase the risk of atherothrombotic disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The psychological and emotional aspects are also important determining factor of diseases, including the cardiovascular ones, because of their risk failures. Studies with depression, anxiety and MS are still rare in literature and present controversial results.
