Background: Adolescent period includes the age group of 10-19 years. Reproductive health of adolescent girls is crucial in determining the health of young generations. Aim: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of an organized teaching program regarding knowledge on reproductive health among adolescent girls at selected higher secondary schools and to find out various factors associated with it.

Descrevemos uma experiência que integra conhecimentos teóricos e práticos vividos através de um projeto de extensão sobre a realização de uma ação educativa como medida de prevenção das Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis e orientação sobre os direitos dos usuários do Sistema Único de Saúde no Brasil.Estudo ocorreu em uma Unidade Municipal de Saúde localizada no bairro do Guamá, no município de Belém-Pará.

O processo de terminalidade do câncer infantil é de fato um processo doloroso para todos que o assistem, fazendo necessário a compreensão de todas as fases vivenciadas pelo paciente, bem como seus familiares e a equipe de saúde.

Pressure injury (LPP) is a localized damage to the skin and the underlying tissue or structure, usually on some bony prominence, resulting from continuous pressure or factors combined with friction. The general objective of this study was to show, through articles found in the literature, the role of nurses in the treatment of pressure injuries in the elderly. This is an integrative review study, with a descriptive character and a qualitative approach, carried out by searching the databases: LILACS and SCIELO between the years 2012-2019, which meet the objectives of the same.

A seguinte pesquisa procura retratar sobre os desafios da atuação do psicólogo no sistema prisional que possui como modelo de execução penal o método da Associação de Proteção e Assistência ao Condenado–APAC, entidade civil, sem fins lucrativos, a qual baseia-se no pressuposto de que todo ser humano é recuperável, desde que haja um tratamento adequado. Objetivou-se neste ínterim expor uma breve, discursão sobre a atuação do psicólogo frente a metodologia APAC e analisar os desafios e possibilidades desta atuação como uma prática ainda em construção.

It is known that after the mastectomy the woman suffers from the alteration of her body image, as the absence of the breast produces in this woman a sensation of mutilation, loss of her femininity and sexuality. In Brazil, breast cancer is the most frequent among women and the second most frequent in the entire population, being considered as a cause of disfigurement of the female body, causing suffering to the woman and her family. Mastectomy is considered the most aggressive treatment, as it causes mutilation.

Objetivo: analisar a percepção de docentes do curso de graduação em Enfermagem sobre as metodologias ativas na formação acadêmica do enfermeiro. Métodos: trata-se de estudo qualitativo e descritivo, realizado com 15 docentes de um curso de graduação em Enfermagem, sendo os dados coletados por meio de entrevista e analisados pela técnica de análise de conteúdo temática.

Introduction: Ophidian accidents represent a serious public health problem for tropical countries. Objective: To describe the clinical-epidemiological profile of snakebite accidents that occurred in the cities of the 1st Regional Health Management, in the State of Pernambuco, Brazil, between 2009 and 2019. Method: This is a retrospective, descriptive, quantitative, documentary study. Results and Discussion: The number of cases reported in the cities studied was 2,516 representing 28.25% of the entire state. The prevalence of this event was 7.7/100,000 inhabitants in 2019.

Introduction: The lack of bone in the alveolar edges has been a major problem in the functional aesthetic recovery in patients who have suffered dentoalveolar trauma, traumatic tooth extractions, congenital tooth absence, pathologies involving the mandible and mandible, in addition to infections. The filling materials can be hydroxyapatite, lyophilized, and ground demineralized bone marrow, autogenous bone, which is considered the gold standard, among others.

Introdução: Os procedimentos de avaliação da sarcopenia ainda não estão totalmente definidos, o European Working Group onSarcopenia in older People (EWGSOP)publicou inicialmente o EWGSOP1 e posteriormente sua atualização por meio do consenso EWGSOP2, que levam em consideração as características da população europeia. No entanto, infere-se que o ideal seja a utilização dos pontos de corte adaptados para a amostra (PCAM). Objetivo: Avaliar a prevalência da sarcopenia por meio das classificações propostas pelo EWGSOP1, EWGSOP2 e PCAM, e analisar a concordância entre essas avaliações.
