Este estudo teve como objetivo geral caracterizar o perfil de morte dos idosos em uma cidade do interior da Bahia. Trata-se de um estudo do tipo documental, retrospectivo, com abordagem quantitativa e descritiva, realizado a partir da extração de dados das Declarações de Óbito de idosos da cidade de Vitória da Conquista – BA cadastrados no Sistema de Informação sobre Mortalidade. Tendo uma amostra de 1537 declarações do período de 2009 a 2013 e para análise dos dados foi utilizado o software Statistical Package for Social Sciences.

Objetivou-se com este estudo isolar e identificar micro-organismos patogênicos das mãos de profissionais da unidade de suporte básico e unidade de saúde de avançado de Teresina-PI. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa, de delineamento experimental realizada com os profissionais do serviço do atendimento móvel de urgência de Teresina-PI. A amostra foi composta de 90 profissionais de ambos os sexos, que desenvolviam suas atividades em Unidades Móveis de Urgência, sendo 26 auxiliares e/ou técnicos em enfermagem, 26 condutores socorristas, 19 enfermeiros e 19 médicos.

Suggestion of applicability of ISO to improve the security of company information. Elaborated through a bibliographic research to understand the concepts applied in the present work, adopting a quantitative research through a questionnaire. Research directed to professionals and university students of information technology, and to a random audience. A documentary research was also carried out to collect data in informal *institutions*.

We seek to point out the importance, the main expectations and positive points in the use of a Business Intelligence (BI) tool for decision making, so that it can become a competitive advantage for the organization. Its main methodologies were bibliographic research, quantitative research and the case study of a fictitious company, as resources for collecting information, questionnaires were used in Google Forms, with quantitative analyzes of the data collected.

No teaching method has evolved as much as distance education, in the state of Amazonas this would not be different, especially in higher education. Distance Education is a modality where the student is separated from the teacher and uses several communication technologies around all his learning. The methods used were bibliographic, documentary and quantitative. The researched environment was the capital city of Manaus and the municipality of Maués, with the application of the closed questionnaire aimed at higher education students.

Background: To gain competitive advantages, companies are organizing themselves intolocal productive arrangements (APL) in several regions. However, in many cases, despite their successful establishment, these associations fail to play an effective role. Aim: Using secondary sources, this study conducted an analysis of 50 APL in São Paulo, Brazil, with the support of the state government, to determine the effectiveness of these arrangements.

The inclusion of Amazonian communities in the productive chain of industrialized products is usually defended as an option for sustainable development for these communities and for improving the production process as a whole by reducing chemical bases and the use of sources of ecological raw materials. However, experience shows that, in many cases, the activity is started and later abandoned by the prospecting companies.

Technologies are conditions for positive changes in the environment of industry, services, commerce and others. The implementation of new technologies requires adaptations for the insertion of mechanisms capable of increasing the efficiency of the sector, improving the quality of the product, improving the training of professionals, as well as structuring effective improvements in the system. In the universe of options for framing changes, an impact study for the insertion of technological bases must be made, otherwise, it may bring loss in planned investment in a certain application view.

This article shows the beginning of the creation of chabots for mobile devices and their evolution on this platform over time, it was discussed what a chatbot is and its purpose, types of chatbot and how they act according to the concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning. A questionnaire was prepared for the general public, where it was observed that the focus of use of this tool occurs on mobile devices, with the main areas of chatbot integration, electronic commerce and call center service.

A ventilação mecânica invasiva consiste em um método de suporte ventilatório utilizado para o tratamento de pacientes com insuficiência respiratória, o tempo prolongado em ventilação mecânica pode provocar perda da função diafragmática, dificultando assim o processo de desmame e extubação. O treinamento muscular inspiratório é uma técnica utilizada para o recondicionamento da musculatura respiratória, proporcionando otimização das capacidades pulmonares, melhora física e força muscular. O objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar a eficácia do TMI no desmame de pacientes sob VMI.
