O cuidado às pessoas enlutadas por familiares vítimas de homicídios

Introdução: O processo de luto sem despedida causa repercussões sociais e para a saúde dos familiares enlutados, necessitando de cuidados específicos Objetivo:conhecer como ocorre o cuidado as famílias enlutadas por familiares vítimas de homicídios. Metodo: Revisão integrativa, com dados coletados na Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde (BVS) com os seguintes descritores: “Homicídio”,“Luto” e “Cuidados” e utilizando o operador booleano AND por favorecer a intersecção dos descritores.

Mortes evitáveis por raça e sexo em uma região de saúde do maranhão: um estudo ecológico

To Este estudo tem por objetivo analisar a mortalidade evitável como indicador de disparidades na mortalidade por raça/cor e sexo em uma Região de Saúde do Maranhão. Configura-se como trabalho do tipo ecológico realizado emsete municípios da Região de Saúde de Caxias com base nas declarações de óbitos ocorridos entre 2006 e 2015. O método de análise estatística foi baseado na regressão binomial negativa.No período estudado, ocorreram 5.277 óbitos por causas evitáveis.

Mortalidade por grandes capítulos da cid-10 em um município do maranhão, Brasil, 2006-2015

Objetivo: Analisar a mortalidade por grandes capítulos da CID-10 em um município do Maranhão. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo com abordagem quantitativa utilizando dados de 7.484 Declaração de Óbitos dos anos de 2006 a 2015 registrados no Sistema de Informação sobre Mortalidade. Resultados: Houve umaumento na taxa de mortalidade de 14,2% , sendo maissignificativo no sexo masculino. Redução de 5,8% na mortalidade por doenças do aparelho circulatório, aumento de 43,8% por neoplasias e de 35,9% por causas externas de morbimortalidade.

Analysis of the proportion of live births to adolescent mothers and temporal trend in Brazil (2008 TO 2017)

This study aims to estimate the proportion of live births to adolescent mothers for Brazil and regions and to provide a time trend and analysis of the spatial area, from 2008 to 2017. It is an ecological study of time series, with data collected from the Live Birth Information System (SINASC) and the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS). We calculated the proportion of live births by dividing the number of live births of mothers from 10 to 19 years old, by the total live births of mothers in the same area, multiplied by 100.

Health-related quality of life in children with autism spectrum disorder and children with down syndrome

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine health – related quality of life (HRQoL) in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and children with Down syndrome (DS). Methods: The study was based on measurements in a sample of 206 children with ASD (61), DS (55) and typical development (TD) (90), aged 5-10 years old, after administering anonymous questionnaires to their parents - caregivers. The Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory ™ 4.0 Generic Core Scales – Parent Report (PedsQL™ 4.0) was used to measure health-related quality of life.

SARS-COV-2 OR COVID-19: The search for alternative treatment for the new coronavirus

SARS-CoV-2 belongs to the Coronaviridae family and of the order Nidovirales, which has positive non-segmented RNA, of the enveloped type that causes a severe acute respiratory syndrome in humans, which has already infected more than 9 million people worldwide, leading to 496,075 deaths by June 27, 2020, making the search for alternative treatment for this pathogen urgent. Thus, this study aimed to conduct a bibliographic survey of research that presents treatment alternatives for the new coronavirus.
