Introdução: A Doença de Alzheimer consuma-se como uma doença cerebral degenerativa, caracterizada por lesões que matam os neurônios, ou impedem seu funcionamento, o que altera a capacidade cognitiva dos pacientes, ou seja, as pessoas perdem aos poucos a capacidade de interpretar os estímulos do ambiente, e de reagir a eles de forma adequada Objetivo: descrever os desafios enfrentados pelos cuidadores de idosos portadores de Alzheimer.

Teachers 'practices and challenges of a nursing course in the State of Tocantins, Brazil

This paper discusses the pedagogical practice of the university teacher, focusing on their initial and ongoing training in educational practice and to reflect this practice seeking to build a relationship with the knowledge necessary for a role as a teacher. Violence against women: a gender inequality ratified by society

Contributions of the more doctors project from the perception of frontier population from mato grosso do sul

The concentration of medical professionals in large urban centers affects most countries, so the More Doctors for Brazil Project (PMMB) was instituted to provide emergency medical provision in vulnerable areas. It aimed to identify users' perceptions of health care in border municipalities assisted by PMMB. This is a descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach, in 12 frontier municipalities of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). The study included 64 users belonging to 43 Basic Family Health Units.

Geogebra software applications for math education: an integrative review

With this math teachers have been incorporating the use of software in their teaching practices, an example of this is the use of geogebra. In this context, this paper work aims to investigate the applications of geogebra software in mathematics teaching, identifying in which mathematics contents studied in basic education it can be worked and what the contributions of its use in the learning of these subjects.

Linguistic prejudice: a case study at the university for the international integration of the afro-Brazilian lusophony, Ceará

This study intends to conduct an investigation on the occurrence of linguistic prejudice within the University for the International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (Unilab). For the data collection, a group of 24 students answered an investigative questionnaire with objective and subjective guiding questions. The 46% of the students are Brazilian and 54% are from Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOPs), in addition to East Timor. The data revealed that most informants suffered linguistic prejudice, both inside and outside the academic environment.
