Profile epidemiological and correlation of risk factors cardiovascular in women in phase climacteric

Introduction: With advancing age women suffer from physiological and morphological changes that may culminate in chronic diseases. Among these changes is menopause, recognized as a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, affecting both the quality of life and longevity. Objective: evaluate the correlation and to draw the epidemiological profile of risk factors in climacteric women. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional epidemiological research. The sample consisted of 148 women, divided into age groups, group A consisting of women aged 40 to 49 years and group B women aged 50 to 59 years.

This The Framingham Heart Study is a prospective longitudinal cohort study that began in 1948 with the enrollment of 5209 men. Women who were free of cardiovascular disease and between the ages of 28 and 62 years. Conhecimento dos professores acerca do traumatismo dentário: revisão de literaturateacher knowledge about dental trauma: literature review

The school is a place where children stay for a relatively long period of their lives and where dental injuries can occur. Teachers have the potential to play an important role in preventing this disorder as well as in its early care. The aim of this study was to perform a literature review about teachers' knowledge about dental trauma. For this purpose, an electronic search was performed using the Scielo, PubMed and Lilacs databases. The results indicated that teachers are not able to deal with dental trauma, which demands training programs for teachers from public and private schools.

Indicadores empíricos das necessidades humanas básicas de indivíduos hospitalizados com traumas ortopédicos

Objetivo: identificar os indicadores empíricos das necessidades humanas básicas de indivíduos internados com traumas ortopédicos. Métodos: trata-se de uma pesquisa transversal, exploratória e descritiva, sendo que esse estudo foi realizado a partir do levantamento das produções científicas voltadas a área da enfermagem ortopédica e teve como referencial teórico a Teoria de Wanda de Aguiar Horta. Depois de selecionadas, foram feitas a leitura na íntegra de cada produção científica em busca dos indicadores empíricos referentes aos indivíduos internados em clínica de ortopedia.
