Exercício profissional frente o atendimento às crianças e adolescentes vítimas de violência sexual: revisão integrativa

Objetivo: Esta revisão buscou identificar as práticas dos profissionais no atendimento às crianças, adolescentes e suas famílias envolvidas na violência sexual. Método: Estudo de revisão integrativa, com a busca sistemática realizada na Biblioteca Virtual em saúde (BVS), a partir das bases de dados da Literatura Latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e Medical LiteratureAnalysisandRetrieval System Online (MEDLINE), nos idiomas inglês e português, publicados entre os anos de 2012 a 2017. Resultados: Foram identificados 14 artigos que compuseram a amostra da pesquisa.

Knowledge, attitude and practice regarding gag-reflex in children among post-graduate students of pediatric and preventive dentistry in india- an electronic cross-sectional survey

Introduction: The gag reflex is a usual response for patients, considered to shield the airway and eradicate irritants from the posterior oropharynx and the upper gastro-intestinal tract. Gag reflex is aannoying problem in various dental techniques and may result in a compromised management. If the dentist efforts to recognize the circumstances that trigger disruptive gagging, this may optimize patient care and operational success.

A cisterna é considerada uma das tecnologias sociais mais exitosas para captar e armazenar água da chuva para o período de estiagem minimizando a carência hídrica. Contudo, o manejo inadequado da retirada de água da cisterna pode propiciar problemas na qualidade da água por consequência problemas para a saúde dos consumidores. Este trabalho objetivou analisar os parâmentros físico-químico de qualidade da água de cisternas da comunidade quilombola Papagaio, município de Filadélfia-BA.A composição amostral do estudo se deu por meio de seleção uniforme das cisternas no espaço do povoado.

Judicialization of medicines in Brazil: impacts and nuances on society

This study presents the impacts and nuances on society regarding to the judicialization of medicines in Brazil. It is an bibliographical research, developed through the deductive method. The results were outlined in five guiding axes. The first “health, development and prevention” addresses the conjuncture between both; the second “State, Society and Health”, in which the common good of society is provided by the State, the public interest converges with the interest of the majority.

In-service training and job performance of non-teaching staff in public secondary Schools in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria

The study investigated the influence of Training and Job Performance of Non-teaching Staff in Public Secondary Schools in Akwa Ibom State. One objective, one research question and one hypothesis guided the study. The descriptive survey research design was used for investigation. The population for the study comprised of all typist and library assistants in 227 Public Secondary Schools in Akwa Ibom State which stood at 610. Multi-stage sampling technique which involved stratified and purposive were used to select 305 as sample.

Systematic-methodological review: proposal for qualitative research protocol in management accounting

The aim of this study was to analyze the qualitative methodologies described in the relevant scientific production on Management Accounting, published in Scopus journals from 2012 to 2016. It was used as a method of procedure the systematic review, whose implementation protocol had beginning with the conceptual framework and choosing the database, the temporal delimitation with cross-sectional survey and the use of the search string, which resulted in 14,304 titles. After refinement and parameterization, It was reached the analyzed sample of 30 articles.

O uso da realidade virtual no tratamento de transtornos de ansiedade: uma revisão integrativa

Objetivo: Apresentar uma revisão integrativa, sobre o uso da Realidade Virtual na técnica de exposição gradual no tratamento dos transtornos de ansiedade. Materiais e Método: Revisão Bibliográfica, do tipo Integrativa, que tem como característica a capacidade de síntese frente a vasta produção de conhecimento nas mais variadas áreas, a exemplo da saúde. A pesquisa foi realizada em quatro bases de dados: SciELO, e através da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), pesquisou-se na MEDLINE, LILACS e na Index Psicologia.

The tribal communities are basically worshipers of nature. They worship trees, plants, stones, hills, and rivers in some form of supernatural gods and goddess. Therefore, each tribe believed in the existence of supernatural forces and it is transmitted to generations orally. It is remembered through observance of festivals every year as per the fixed month and date to commemorate their supernatural objects. The tribes of each region have close relationships with supernatural powers in two ways.

Determinant of turmeric market supply in Yeki District of Sheka zone of South West part of Ethiopia

This study was aimed at analyzing the market supply of turmeric in Yeki District Sheka Zones of South West Ethiopia with specific objectives of analyzing the determinants of turmeric supply to the market in the study area. The data were collected from both primary and secondary sources. The primary data for this study were collected from 333 farmers and from key informants through application of appropriate statistical procedures.
