Health care of Brazilian women working in clandestine mining sites within the French Amazon rainforest

Objective: This study aims to understand how health care is offered to Brazilian women working in clandestine mining sites in the French Amazon rainforest. Methodology: A qualitative study was carried out with 19 women working in clandestine mining sites in the French Amazon rainforest, who were predominantly aged between 30-39 years. A non-directive interview was conducted, recorded, and transcribed in its entirety. Data were analyzed through content analysis.

Educação permanente para enfermeiros da atenção básica: um instrumento de aprendizado e melhoria do cuidado

Objetivo deste artigo foi descrever e refletir sobre experiência da participação e desenvolvimento da educação permanente para o enfermeiro no âmbito da atenção básica. Trata-se de um estudo de caráter exploratório, descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, na modalidade relato de experiência, realizado com 40 enfermeiros atuantes na Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF), na cidade de João Pessoa, estado da Paraíba.

Reception experience precipitating immune whey for use in medicolegal practice

Immunization of rabbits for reception heteroimmune precipitating whey is spent. As an antigene for immunization of rabbits are used: a mix of whey of blood of the person, horned livestock, a bird, a horse and 10 % a formalin solution in the ratio 1:1, in volume of weight of the rabbit providing the high specific immune answer at 90 % of animals of 1 ml/kg. Received heteroimmune precipitating whey is strictly specific and high-sensitivity, providing their application in medicolegal practice.

Current panorama of the theory of travelbee: an integrative review

The objective of this study was to systematize scientific production about the current literature panorama based on Joyce Travelbee Theory. An integrative review based on the databases of the Virtual Health Library (VHL), the Portal of Periodicals CAPES and EBSCO-HOST. The descriptors were: "Psychiatric Nursing" AND "Nurses-Patient Relationship" AND "Nursing Theory". Publications were included in English, Spanish and Portuguese and were available electronically in full. Letters to the editor and those published outside the period 2012-2017 were excluded.

Report of health education about parody of abo system in the nursing technical course of a private institution located in Belem, Para, Brazil

The teaching of Biology suffers from the lack of perception of students, who see no validity in what they study, as well as unprepared teachers, who cooperate with this scenario. The use of different and innovative practices in the routine of the students stimulates the fixation and learning in an easy and fast way. Thus, this study aimed to report the experience of teaching about the ABO system for students of the nursing technician of a private institution located in Belém, Pará.

Introdução: A Leptospirose é uma zoonose causada por bactéria patogênicas, mas que acidentalmente pode acometer humanos, com variedade de formas clínicas, elevadas incidência e com taxas de letalidade que podem chegar a 40% nos caso mais graves. O presente estudo descreveu o perfil epidemiológico, ambiental e socidemográfico da leptospirose humana no munícipio de Belém no período de 2012 a 2016.

Blepharitis (krimigranthi) and its management through ayurveda-a case study

Introduction: Blepharitis (Krimigranthi) is one of the most common ocular conditions seen in optometric practice. Its cannot be cured but fortunately it can be controlled. Generally, the diseases start slowly affecting both eyes and usually chronic with period of remission and relapse. According to Sushrutkrimigranthi is a swelling inwhich organism get lodged in the junction of the eyelids and eyelashes to produce severe itching in those part. These different forms of organism move along the junction of eyelid and penetrate into shukalamandal and even into the inner structure of the eye.

Social representations of school children and teachers about students with disabilities: an integrative review

Social Representations are understood as a structured field of significations, knowledge and information that are experienced socially and culturally. The present integrative review aimed to investigate which social representations stand out among schoolchildren and teachers in relation to students with disabilities. Pubmed, Lilacs and Scielo databases were used with the following search strategies: "Disability AND Educational Inclusion"; "Disability AND Social Perception", "Educational Inclusion AND Social Perception", with descriptors recognized by the vocabulary Mesch and Desc.

Positivation of fundamental rights from the idea of human dignity

The objective was to demonstrate that positivation of Fundamental Rights is based on the idea of Human Dignity, in this way, Human Dignity is the essence of Fundamental Rights. For the development of the article the Inductive Method was used. The research was bibliographical and documentary. The idea of Human Dignity is present in the evolution of human thought as an ideal of coexistence. The article was divided into three items. The first presents the idea of Human Dignity, the second presents considerations on Fundamental Rights and the third relates Human Dignity to Fundamental Rights.
