Hellp syndrome has been coursing with high maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, and is known as a serious complication of pre-eclampsia, coming from gestational hypertension. In most cases, a pregnancy interruption is necessary as a way to cure the disease. This study is a narrative review with a descriptive approach that hás allowed the compreehension and interpretation of Hellp syndrome made from analyzed studies during the period of march to april in 2017, through the descriptor “Hellp syndrome”.

This paper is a result of experiences with Elementary School students from the public school network of the Brazilian city of Caldeirão Grande, aiming to investigate the contribution of practical classes in non-formal spaces. Interpretative Trail was the methodological tool of this report to teaching, and we used it to enrich the classes and to improve the science learning. This experience showed how this methodological tool, can be a solution to few of important concerns by teachers of Elementary School in the public teaching network of Caldeirão Grande.

A arbovirose causada pelo vírus Chikungunya com viremia que persiste por até dez dias após o surgimento das manifestações clínicas, o que piora, quando se trata de uma população alvo na faixa etária a partir dos 60 anos, onde o sistema de defesa fica mais vulnerável devido as alterações provocadas pelo envelhecimento. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo, avaliar, através dos dados do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação, a prevalência do vírus Chikungunya nos idosos da Bahia.

To the subject of Human Rights has been conferred many studies and approaches in the social dynamics of the Brazilian State.Because it is a relevant approach, this study has as its theme: literature and human rights: in search for the meaning, and as its purpose, to detect how human rights cross literary productions.

Insecurity is a public problem and is commonly present in the population's daily lives. It is notorious that many people seek alternatives to minimize or avoid situations that cause risks to them or their loved ones. Technology proves to be an efficient tool in this scenario, since it assists in diverse situations and in a fast and practical way. The present work aims to ally the technology with the problematic of the lack of security, through the creation of a mobile application, with the purpose of providing the end user with a proposal of help in adverse situations.

The professional education expansion policies implemented over the past years have brought new demands for professional education in agricultureand cattle raising, especially after the transformation of the federal agro-technical schools into campuses of the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology. The purpose of the present article is to analyze the impacts of Law 11892, of December 29, 2008 on the transformation of the EAFs of Bahia into the Federal Institute.

We analyzed the Cuban technical and professional education in agriculture and cattle raising, mainly by the experience of the offering of technical and higher education teaching courses of Education in the specialties of agriculture and cattle raising, an educational model that counts with a long tradition in the field. The objective of this research was to revisit the historical trajectory of technical and professional education in agriculture and cattle raising and the transformations after the 1959 revolution.

O presente estudo, realizado em uma Unidade de Saúde da Família – USF no interior da Bahia, objetiva compreender a percepção das mães acerca dos entraves e facilidades da amamentação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva exploratória, de abordagem qualitativa, cuja coleta de dados se deu por meio de entrevista, norteada por roteiro semiestruturado com puérperas cadastradas em uma USF.

Objective: evaluate the pregnant women self-esteem who live with HIV/AIDS. Methods: This is an epidemiological with cross sectional and quantitative approach study, 33 pregnant women took part of the survey and they were interviewed in a school-ambulatory from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. They answered to two questionnaires, one of them was to the self-esteem evaluation and the o the one was for socioeconomic characterization, clinical-obstetric and emotional. The levels of self-esteem were related to the other variables and with data analysis.

Objective: To describe the main complications that affect the patient with a diagnosis of pancreatitis in intensive therapy environment. Methodology: it is an integrative literature review to search for articles in the LILACS, PUBMED and SCIELO, with articles published between 1992 to 2018, in the Portuguese language, English and Spanish. Results: There were found initially 478 studies, of which 14 were included in this review.
