Introdução: A relevância do aleitamento materno tem sido internacionalmente tratada em diversos países, documentos de Organizações nacionais e internacionais de Saúde, que recomendam o aleitamento exclusivo durante os seis primeiros meses de vida da criança Objetivo: averiguar de que forma as mães vivenciam o processo de amamentação.Método: pesquisa exploratória, qualitativa, realizada com 15 mães com filhos cadastrados no Serviço de Atenção à Saúde da Criança de uma Unidade de Saúde de uma cidade na Bahia.

This article aimed to analyze the condition of the sustainable development of 78 municipalities of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), with aggregated variables in three dimensions: environmental, social and economic. The objective was to develop the index of municipal sustainable development in the three census years (1991, 2000 and 2010) and, with that, to analyze whether the localities grew in a sustainable way or not. Using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, a DEA BCC model was initially calculated for each dimension and each year and, after that, the overall indicator.

The purpose of this study was to assess challenges in teaching and learning Vocabulary using Communicative Language Teaching Method in Saint Michael International Youth Academy. To collect the necessary data for the study, semi-structured interview, questionnaire and observation were used. Objective: To promote the health and quality of life of elderly residents in a long-term care facility in a city in northern Minas Gerais. Methods: This is a field research, with a quantitative-descriptive approach, having as its starting point the bibliographic research. Com a ascensão da expectativa de vida no Brasil, sobretudo entre as mulheres, e a manutenção da idade de término do ciclo reprodutivo, aumentam os casos de mulher na menopausa. Pensar na qualidade de vida das mulheres nesta condição torna-se um problema de saúde pública, ainda mais quando ocorre de maneira precoce (antes dos 45 anos) onde não só deflações físicas, mas mentais, sociais e emocionais acarretam problemas crônicos para estas mulheres. Sendo assim, o objetivo do presente estudo foi relacionar quais hábitos de saúde entre mulheres de 30-44 anos com a menopausa precoce.
