Exploring sprouting and growth response of ixora stem cuttings (ixora cocccinea)

A pot experiment was conducted during 2017-2018 to examine sprouting and growth responses of ixora stem cutting types of and ixora varieties. The cutting 4-6 inches in length of two ixora varieties viz. S.Yellow and N.Grant were taken from well grown plants of ixora. The cuttings included terminal and sub-terminal stem cuttings. The cuttings types viz. C1-Terminal cuttings with two leaves, C2-Terminal cuttings with four leaves, C3-Sub-terminal stem cuttings with two leaves and C4-Sub-terminal stem cuttings with four leaves.

The role of land registers in the expropriation of urban land in South Africa

Scholars often lament that urban areas in post-apartheid South Africa are beset by a shortage of affordable urban residential land and informal settlements. This shortage will never be addressed through market-based land reforms. The redistribution process is criticised for being slow and ineffective; the state cannot afford to purchase urban land at the high prices demanded by landowners and the scale of support needed to deliver land to the majority who are poor is not fiscally sustainable.

Influence of the dosage of goat dung and sawdust sengon wood (albizia facataria) against the productivity of the chicory plant (brassica juncea l.) on three different soil types in polybag

The limitations of the media grows and diversity of commodities in a narrow area, resulting in the production of the plant is not optimal and not sustainable. The limitations of the media in the form of planting land can be anticipated by utilizing organic ingredients from the results of the activities performed by the public. An alternative workaround is to search for materials in addition to ground and without the need for extensive land to farm.

Exclusive effect of different transition metals supported on wti-pillared clay: surface acidity and redox properties

Different transition metals (Mo, Cu, Mn,Ce, V, Co,Zr) supported on WTi-pillared clay were characterized by different techniques and tested in the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxide by ammonia. The effects of diverse transition metals on the textural parameters, the acidity and the redox propertieswerecompared to, then correlated with the catalytic activities. The results demonstrate that the surface propertiesof the investigated materials are largely dependenton the type of transition metal added to the support.

The influence of the composes of the media compost coffee skin, the appropriate way of determine the diameter vanilla stem for the growth of the vanilla (vanilla planifolia andrews) with three different soil types

The VanillaplanifoliaAndrews plants is a plantation commodity with high economic value and stablemarket price and is one of the quite valuable export commodities which can increase a farmer’s income and the State’s finances.

Extent of implementation of environmental related aspects in the University of Eastern Philippines

This study is about the determination of the extent of implementation of environment related aspects in terms of the University of Eastern Philippines’s personnel and purchasing policies; environment-friendly operations and presence of environmental programs on purchasing, water utilization and conservation, office machines and equipment use, canteen operation, general waste management and air quality. It made use of the descriptive correlation research design using frequency counts, weighted means.

The influence of the media and the concentration of auxin towards growth cuttings of pepper (pipper nigrumlinnaeus)

This research aimed to analyse the right concentration of auxin, with composition of top soil planting media, cow manure and rice husk combined to the growth of pippernigrum. Pepper growers in the Laulara only use media land without adding manure (If j using the size without obvious) or ZPT (a regulator of plant substances) in the process of breeding that resulted in the growth of the plant is less good because even though the leaves are already quite a lot but haven't grown roots perfect (weak rooting), so when the opportunity to grow up in is very low.

Microbiological quality of coconut water and the instruments used for the perforation of thefruit marketed in the São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil

Coconut water consumption on the edge of São Luís-MA has had a huge growth, justified by the number of bathers who frequent the beaches during the day or even by the practitioners of physical activities in the period of the night, calling attention to the conditions hygienic-sanitary that such food is marketed. This study aimed to assess the microbiological quality of coconut water and instruments used in the drilling of the fruit.

A study on physico chemical parameters of river, urban and rural ponds of Raipur District

Present paper deals with the study of physico- chemical parameters of river, rural and urban ponds of Raipur district during the summer season for period of March 2017 to June 2017. Study of physical and chemical parameters such as temperature, transparency, pH (6.5-8.5), Free carbon dioxide, dissolved oxygen (5.2-7.5mg/l), Total hardness (68-190mg/l) and alkalinity are investigated. All parameters were under permissible limits. All selected water bodies are suitable for fish culture.
