Facilitating and barrier beliefs for drug adherence in light of the theory of planned behavior: Integrative Review

Objective: To analyze the evidence on the use of the Theory of Planned Behavior for the collection of drug adherence-related beliefs. Methods: This is an integrative review carried out on the MEDLINE, Scopus Info Site (SCOPUS) and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) platforms. Results: It was evidenced that the control of the disease and the prevention of complications were highlighted among the advantages related to drug adherence, and the side effects were relevant among the disadvantages.

Invitro antibacterial activity and phytochemical profile analysis by tlc and gcms from the chloroform extract of chrozophora rottleri

The aim of this study was to bearing the phytochemical profiles from the chloroform extract of Chrozophora rottleri leaves and it’s evaluate antibacterial activity. The chloroform extract of Chrozophora rottleri leaves were prepared by ethanol gradient elution orderly and analyzed by TLC and GCMS. The bacterial strains were used to evaluate the antibacterial activities by the disc diffusion and MIC method. Results showed that the disc diffusion against bacteria ranged from 5 µL/mL to 20 µL/mL of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Proteus vulgaris).

The impact of high-dose desloratadine in treating chronic idiopathic Urticaria in Libyan patients

Chronic idiopathic urticaria it`s a transient vascular reaction pattern characterized by short-lived circumscribed erythematous, edematous and itchy wheals usually lasting for a few hours to few days for a period of at least six weeks without an identifiable causes and its negative influence on the quality of life. On numerical solutions of fuzzy differential equations

Controlling After being introduced by Chang and Zadeh, the topic of Fuzzy Differential Equations has been attracting a rapidly growing number of researchers in recent decades. In this paper some numerical algorithms for fuzzy ordinary differential equations are considered. Schemes for the classical Euler method, Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM), and Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) are discussed; this is followed by an error analysis.

Elderly primigravidae versus young primigravidae in najaf governorate (pregnancy outcome regarding antenatal, peripartum and postpartum occurrences)

Background: The elderly primigravida defined as a woman who goes into pregnancy for the first time at the age of 35 years or older. This has become more common in many societies and traditionally such pregnancy regarded as a high risk pregnancy. Objectives: To determine and compare the pregnancy outcome in elderly primigravidae aged 35 years old and above with those of young primigravidae (less than 35 years old).

Tooth supported overdenture retained with custom post attachment: A case report

The concept of conventional tooth-retained overdenture is a simple and cost effective treatment than the implant overdentures. This usually requires selecting 2, 3 or more natural teeth to support the denture. Root canal therapy is then performed on these teeth and they are shaved down to the gum and customized posts are then attached into them so that the denture can be anchored on the top of that. This clinical report describes a method of fabricating a tooth supported overdenture retained with custom made posts.

Subclinical systemic lymphedema manifesting early in patients with clinical lymphedema

Objective: The objective of the present study is to compare intracellular and extracellular fluid variations in patients with lymphedema and body mass indexes between 25 and 37 with a control group. Subjects: A cross-sectional study was carried out of 30 consecutive patients with grade III (elephantiasis) leg lymphedema and BMI between 25 and 37 treated at the Clinica Godoy in São Jose do Rio Preto-Brazil. Variations in intracellular and extracellular fluid were evaluated by bioelectrical impedance analysis.

Kampavata with special reference to parkinson's disease-a case study

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a chronic progressive movement disorder, meaning that symptoms continue and worsen over time. Where the malfunction and death of vital nerve cells in the brain, called neurons occurs. PD primarily affects the neurons in an area of the brain called the substantia nigra. These neurons produce dopamine, a chemical that sends messages to the part of brain that controls movement and coordination. The Initial manifestations may be tremor, slowness or, clumsiness of an arm or, less commonly, of a leg.

Nursing care toward patients with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis

Kidney disease is characterized for kidneys inability to no longer execute its main functions. The present paper aimed to identify scientific publications about nursing care toward patientes with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis. It is an integrative review to answer the question: what are the nursing care toward patients with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis?
