The Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear (IEN) is a nuclear research facility whose main research lines comprehend non-destructive essays with thermal neutrons in biology, industry, environment and national public security. IEN is a restricted areas access composed by several laboratories, a particle accelerator and a nuclear research reactor known as the Argonauta.
Objective: to estimate the prevalence of risk behaviors to health and its association with sociodemographic characteristics among adolescents. Materials and Methods: Socioeconomic information and health risk behaviors were collected from 2207 adolescents enrolled in public schools in Sergipe State, Northeastern, Brazil. Results: Females were associated with low levels of physical activity (PR=1.19; IC95%=1.15 – 1.24) and more than two hours watching TV (PR=1.07; IC95%=1.01-1.14).
Plantain fruit constitute an important source of energy as a staple diet in the tropics. The peel of the fruit is discarded as waste after the edible portion is eaten; thereby constituting a menace to the environment, especially where its consumption is common, while the bracts are left on the farm as wastes. This research work has comprehensively investigated the presence of proximate mineral composition and secondary metabolites in the Musa Paradisiaca bract waste by using standard methods of AOAC.

This research shows that if people over sixty five years old (EA 65+) practice physical activity on a regular basis, the progressive and generalised deterioration of bodily functions, the onset of dementia and degenerative diseases can slow down, while extending autonomy and reducing limitations in daily life. An overview of the relationship between educational research and teaching chemistry is presented, covering the opportunity areas between production and science popularization (dissemination of scientific knowledge). Knowledge apprehension and appropriation are also discussed in the educational context of UNAM, in Facultad de Estudios SuperioresCuautitlán. Links between scientific and pedagogical training are defined by considering educational research as a means to broaden the theoretical and methodological options for chemistry teaching.
Mustard plant is one of a potentially great horticultural crops are to be developed. Although generally cultivated mustard plants on the plateau, but there are varieties that can adapt, developed and high production in the lowlands as long as the grant of the right fertilizer. The purpose of this research was: 1) to know the influence of the type of fertilizer and planting distance towards the growth and development of plant mustard greens.
