Development of urban trip generation model based on residential area: a case study of ward no. 09 under khulna city corporation, Bangladesh

The aim of this paper is to formulate a trip generation model using Cross-Classification method for the ward no. 09 under Khulna City Corporation based on Boyra Residential Area. Therefore, five key variables (households size, monthly income, car ownership, trip number for specific purposes and trip cost) were used to prepare four basic models of Cross-Classification method i.e. Income sub-model, Car ownership sub-model, Trip production sub-model and Trip purpose sub-model. A household is considered as a sampling unit for primary data collection process.

Probiotic properties of lactic acid bacteria isolated from animal sources

In the present research study an attempt was made to isolate the probiotic bacteria from animal sources and their probiotic properties were determined. Total15 milk samples (from Cow, Buffalo, and Goat) were used as source of probiotic bacteria. Out 57 isolates 11 isolates were screened as prominent probiotics, among them 3 isolates from Cow, Buffalo and Goat were found with significant probiotic properties. Assessment of the types of cyber crime faced by internet users in north-eastern Nigeria

The main objective of the study was to analyse the types of cyber-crime faced by internet users in north-eastern Nigeria. The research design was cross-sectional in nature. 30 respondents were cyber café operators and 120 were selected from the vast users of the internet. Total sample size was 150. The purposive random sampling technique was used to collect the data. Finding of the study revealed that majority of respondents reported that they were victims of hacking, malware, spamming botnets, phishing, social engineering and cyber stalking.

This article reviews the main areas of clinical cannabinoid use, discusses the quality and consistency of the evidence for these areas, and examines cannabinoid side effects.

Onychomycosis in workers from a community garden in teresina, piauí, Brazil

Onychomycosis is an infection of the nail blade caused by dermatophytes, yeasts and non-dermatophyte fungi. This studyaimed to determine the prevalence of onychomycosis in horticulturists of Piauí, identifying the causative fungal etiological agents. A total of 125 horticulturists clinically suspected of onychomycosis were examined for causative fungal agents. In this sense, three subungual samples were collected from each individual, followed by direct KOH examination and subsequent invitro culture.
