Industry 4.0 in Brazil

This article deals with a new industrial revolution: Industry 4.0. It is an industry concept proposed recently, mid-2011, which began in Germany. This movement encompasses a new way of producing new, highly integrated and automation-intensive digital processes. China and Germany are now emerging as pioneers in the research and deployment process in their industries. They make parts of the new technologies cyber security, internet of things, autonomous robots among others.

A comparative evaluation of clinical performance of conventional and light cured glass ionomer cement in class i carious lesions in primary molars- a split mouth randomized clinical study

Glass ionomer cement is dental restorative material used in paediatric dentistry for dental fillings over more than 20 years. Its usefulness in paediatric dentistry is preferential because of its fluoride release, chemical adhesion to tooth structure, and availability to use in all clinical scenarios. Ionolux-Light-curing glass ionomer restorative material, is a new basic filling material offering advantages over conventional glass ionomer cements.

Dengue and chikungunya: A review

Background: Arboviruses are characterized by a clustering of viral diseases, infected by vectors (viruses transmitted by arthropods). The designation of arboviruses is not only being used for its dissemination through arthropods, but is subject to its reproductive cycle that occurs in insects. In Brazil, among the most frequently expressed arboviruses are Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika. The emergence of arboviruses has raised concerns about the main causes of their emergence and the need to develop prevention and control programs.

Aussie current in muscle strengthening in women: a randomized and comparative study

Among the several types of strengthening programs, the use of neuromuscular electrical stimulation in order to optimize the muscle gain is highlighted. Therefore, this study aimed at comparing the results obtained with resistance muscle strengthening alone versus the findings of its application when combined with Aussie current. It is a cross-sectional, analytical-descriptive trial, of experimental and comparative nature, controlled and randomized, with quantitative data analysis.

Effects of the myosfascial release and the resistance exercise in mountain bikers

Objetives: To compare the myofascial release success and the resistance exercises oncardiorespiratory capacity and cyclists perfomance. Materials and Methods: It is an analytical study held in a private College in the city of Vitória da Conquista-BA. The sample was comprised by eight mountain bikers that were divided randomly into two groups. In one of the groups it was carried the myofascial release and in another group it was done the resistance exercises for four sessions.

Professors’ perception regarding the seminars’ usage as a teaching strategy in the physiotherapy course

There are numerous teaching strategies that may be used by professors in the classroom with the goal to stimulate the learning process, the seminar is highlighted because it is a methodology commonly used by the professors. The main goal of the current paperis to comprehend the professor perceptions regarding the seminars’ usage as a teaching tool. It is astudy of descriptive and exploratory character with a qualitative approach. The participants of the research were professors of a private higher education institution, situated in the city of Vitória da Conquista - Bahia.

Working conditions of oral health teams in the family health strategy

The oral health team (eSB) has been expanding since the 2000s with the advent of the Family Health Strategy, and with this comes the insertion of the Dental Surgeon (CD), Auxiliary in Oral Health (ASB) and Oral Health Technician (TSB) in primary care. This review study aims to evaluate the oral health and the conditions of the teams that work in the Family Health Strategy. As an methodology, an integrative review was used to search for publications in the VHL portal.

Perception of university students about the seminar usage on the physiotherapy course

The seminar is a teaching strategy broadly employed in the academic field with the aim of encouraging the students to do research, comprehend and expose ideas. This study has as goal to comprehend university students’ perception regarding the seminar’s usage as a teaching strategy. This is a study of descriptive and exploratory character with a qualitative approach, which was conducted through the questionnaires’ application with students of the Physiotherapy course in a private higher education institution in the city of Vitória da Conquista-Bahia.
