A cross-sectional and quantitative study aimed at analyzing socio-economic, family environment, access and use of dental services, subjective aspects and their relationship with dental caries in 253 children aged 12 years old enrolled in municipal schools of a medium-sized municipality of south of Brazil. A clinical examination was carried out to collect cases of dental caries using the decayed, missing and filled teeth index (DMFT), classifying children into two groups: Group 1: Caries Free and Group 2: With caries experience.

Introduction: Dental esthetics is one of the most wanted procedures in the current business of dentistry. A study was conducted by Al-Amriet al(2017),which focused on the reasons behind bleaching use and the extent of people's desire in demanding for such treatment. This paper looks at Paul Kalanithi’s When Breath Becomes Air as an autopathographical account that narrates the trauma of the illness. It aims to examine the text as narrating the process of healing and recovery. The text traces the change in attitude and understanding of the narrator of life and mortality which further leads to the sense of recovery that the narrator achieves. The paper will also look at the narrative as bridging the gap between the medical world and literature.

To examine the association between adhesive capsulitis and other various disorders, an analytic study of (96) patients with adhesive capsulitis and (96) patients without adhesive capsulitis was conducted. The data were analyzed and showed the following results. Among adhesive capsulitis cases the female: male ratio was 2 : 1. The peak age of onset was (50-59) years in both sexes. All patients (cases and controls) were screened for a number of possibly associated disorders.

Objective: Teach high school adolescents to identify a Cardiorespiratory Stop and how to take basic life support. Method: Report of an extension activity called "Realistic Simulation in Emergency and Emergency", in the period from April 5 to June 29, 2018, with high school students from public and private schools in the metropolitan region of Belem, Para. Results: In total, five educational interventions were performed through a realistic simulation of the basic life support maneuvers for 500 students from the 1st to 3rd year of high school.
