Factors affecting poor people’s accessibility to the micro credit from Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies - Tra Vinh branch

The study on factors influencing poor people’s accessibility to micro credit from Viet Nam Nam Bank for Social policies - Tra Vinh branch was conducted with a survey of 385 poor people in the districts of Cau Ngang, Duyen Hai, Chau Thanh, Tra Cu and Cang Long in Tra Vinh province. With the use of the Logistic regression method, the research result found that there are five factors affecting poor people’s accessibility to micro credit, including household size, level of education, average income, dependency ratio, and household savings.

Empirical study and preference on cola garcinia (bitter kola) with cola malvaceae (kola-nuts) consumption in Nigeria

A field survey involving (93) kola consumers who were randomly selected in Ijegun community of Ikotun axis of Lagos State was conducted to examine reasons why kola consumers prefer consumption of kola Garcinia (Bitter kola) to other types of kola-nuts in ceremonies. Data were collected with the use of structured interview schedule and data collected was analyzed using descriptive and frequency statistics. The results revealed that kola consumers in the study area preferred to consumed more of kola Garcinia than other types of kola-nuts with (63.4%) against (27.7%) and (8.6%) respectively.

Memory and pedagogical praxis: A study at ifma, campus são joão dos patos

In this text, we introduced results of a research about the teaching praxis from the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA), Campus São João dos Patos. We accomplished an investigation along with licensed teachers, bachelors and technologists (these two last areas without specific formation of the teaching) through focus groups, but also considering the institutional documents. We resorted to the social and collective memory theory to understand the teaching praxis at IFMA.

Socio-environmental experiences in the schools of paramirim-ba

The Environmental Education developed at school is deemed essential to stimulate the participative and reflective position in the resolution of socio-environmental issues. This study refers to field research conducted in four (04) educational institutions with the objective of verifying the curricular constituents of the Environmental Education presented in public and private schools in Paramirim, State of Bahia, and the understanding of sixth-graders students concerning the environment.

The main objective of this research is to describe the epidemiological characteristics of Dengue in the period from January 2007 to December 2016 and its relationship with environmental aspects in the city of Augustinópolis, State of Tocantins. The research has a descriptive and crosscutting approach of quantitative approach. The sample of this research was composed of all the reported cases of Dengue in the period from January 2007 to December 2016 in the municipality of Augustinópolis, State of Tocantins, provided by the Notification of Injury Information System (SINAN).

Background: Sepsis is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, and it is very important to establish a simple clinical evaluation method that can identify patients with signs of organic dysfunction who may be progressing to sepsis. The study objective was to compare the qSOFA and SIRS criteria as triage tools and severity and mortality predictors in patients with sepsis at the emergency sector of a University Hospital in the Midwest of the State of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
