The objective of the study was to identify relationships between performance and hospital size in general hospitals that attend the Unified Health System (UHS) in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. The study was quantitative and the sample was composed of 420 general hospitals that provided service to the Unified Health System from 2008 to 2013. Hospital indicators selected to evaluate performance included, production, productivity and quality.

The objective of this study was to analyze the perception of institutionalized elderly women regarding the fall. This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, developed in a Long Stay Institution of female care in the city of Fortaleza - Ceará. Data collection took place from September to October 2017 through a semi-structured interview where the final sample was composed of eleven elderly women. It was noticed that the biggest fall victim is the elderly who spend most of their time in their dorms and who do not practice physical exercises or recreational activities.

This study looks at the macro-economic determinants of industrial output in relation to exchange rate and employment in Nigeria. It employs the Autoregressive Distribution Lag (ARDL) econometric approach to co-integration using time series data for the period of 30 years (1986 -2016) to examine the long-run relationship between industrial performance and some macroeconomic variables in Nigeria to gain insights into the industrial paradox of high inflation and low employment rate alongsiderising interest rate, incessant power outage and political treat in the economy.

The Forest Concession allows the use of the public forest, through a bidding process, allowing the sustainable exploitation of products and services in the area of forest management. The National Forestry Development Fund, created by Law 11284/2006, has the mission of promoting innovation and the development of sustainable forestry activities. In this sense, this article presents the relationship between forest concession as a process of innovation of the use of public forests in order to promote local sustainable development.

Workforce diversity refers to inclusion of workforce from a broad spectrum of religious, cultural, experiential and environmental backgrounds. Background: depression causes several changes in life of an individual. An attempted suicide person develops depression by showing the symptoms like loneliness, decrease passion for life, feeling of unworthiness and unpleasurable mood. This study was performed to reduce the depression after REBT. Objectives: To assess the level of depression among attempted suicide patients before and after rational emotive behaviour therapy. Design: Pre-experimental design where one group pre and post test. Setting: attempted suicide patients at Dhanvantri critical canter, erode.

The objective of this research was to evaluate the microbiological quality, sensory acceptance and purchase intention of a smoked sausage prepared with surimi from flying fish added inulin and with reduction of fat. Seven treatments were formulated following an experimental and a control formulation using 15% of vegetable fat and 0% inulin. All treatments were within acceptable microbiological standards for human consumption, in accordance with the legislation in force in Brazil.
