The administrative empowerment effect on staff creativity case study of the saudi telecommunications company stc (zain)

This study aims to identify the extent of the administrative empowerment effect on staff creativity. The study sample consisted of (82) individuals from the administrative body in the Saudi Telecommunications Company (Zain). This effect has been tested by using Multiple Regression Analysis and One-Way Analysis of Variance. Results have indicated that there is a statistically significant administrative empowerment effect at the level of administrative creativity felt by employees.

Performance of tcp and udp protocols for secure multipath aco communication in manet

The ACO (Ant Colony Optimization) isnovel concept to improves the routing performance of network because multiple choices of path available to deliver data to destination. The link capacity in network is limited and it is also not possible extend easily as wired network. The multipath protocol like AOMDV is balance the load by providing alternative path but not proficient at every condition. The problem of congestion in MANET is not possible to removes completely because of limited bandwidth capacity of link between the two nodes.

Market arrival and price behaviour of potato in Uttarakhand

An attempt has been made to study the market arrival and price behaviour of potato in Uttarakhand. The study is based on secondary data on wholesale monthly/weekly arrivals and prices for the period of 2003 to 2012. The seasonality in market arrival and wholesale price was analyzed using multiplicative model; the Fourier analysis was used to analyze cyclical variation in market arrivals and wholesale prices. Distribution lag model and Autoregressive model were used to study the relationship between market arrival and price of potato in major markets of Uttarakhand.

Entrepreneurial skills among women under self help groups in almora District of Uttarakhand

The purpose of the present study was to identify the various enterprises undertaken by the members of women Self-Help Groups in Almora district of Uttarakhand. The study also aims to determine the extent of entrepreneurial skills of women under Self Help Groups in Uttarakhand. Hawalbagh block of Almora district was selected purposively considering the entrepreneurial activities and availability of active and functional SHGs under various Government and NGOs. Two villages namely village Bakh and village Sar ka ali were selected using simple random sampling.

Evaluation of antioxidant properties and radical scavenging activity on ethyl acetate extract of cassia Occidentalis. L

In the present study, methanol, ethanol and aqueous extracts of Cassia occidentalis were evaluated by employing various in vitro antioxidant assays. The aqueous extract of had shown highest total phenolic content (250mg/g), the further assays were carried on active fraction of aqueous that is fractioned ethyl acetate extract. The ethyl acetate extract of C. occidentalis had the most effective total antioxidant activity among the two separated extracts. The IC50 values of the extract and BHT were found to be 60.5 and 60.4 respectively. The ethyl acetate extract of C.

Degradation of forest in nainital hill

There is degradation in the forest ecosystem in the Uttrakhand hills and its sustainability is very important for the survival of humankind. There has been a loss of 268 sq. km of forest cover in Uttarakhand hills. The very dense forest cover has gone down to the tune of 86 sq. km whereas there is a tremendous loss of forest cover in moderately dense forests and it is to the level of 519 sq. km. Nainital has also lost 3 sq km of VDF and 107 sq. km of open forest(OF).

Optimization of culture conditions for tannase production by Streptomyces Sp.

Tannin Acyl Hydrolase (E.C 3.1.1.20) commonly referred as tannase is an industrially important enzyme which is mainly used in the food, chemical, pharmaceuticals and beverage industry; it is produced by number of microbes, animals, and plants. In this study production of tannase was investigated using agro-residue, Azadirachta indica leaves as a substrate of hydrolysable tannin by potent tannase producer isolate Streptomyces sp.SKA1.

Management of a rare chronic blistering autoimmune skin disease: Pemphigus Vulgaris

Pemphigus vulgaris is an autoimmune, intraepithelial, blistering disease affecting the skin and mucous membrane. The immune system produces anti bodies against specific proteins in the skin and mucous membrane. These anti bodies break the bonds between skin cells. This leads to the formation of a blister. The exact cause is unknown. It is mediated by circulating auto antibodies directed against keratinocyte cell surface. The disease arises most often in middle aged or older people, usually starting with a blister that ruptures easily. The lesions can become quite extensive.

Determination of antioxidant potential from two filamentous fungi isolated from the dried fig

The antioxidant capacity and antioxidant constituents of two filamentous fungi (Acremonium charticola and Rhizopus oryzae) isolated from the dried Fig were evaluated in the present study. The antioxidant capacity of the fungal crude extracts was assessed based on the 2,2 azino-bis(3-ethyl-benzthiazolin-6-sulfonicacid) (ABTS) method. Total phenolics were determined based on the Folin-Ciocalteu method, while the flavonoids content in the fungal extracts was determined by the spectrophotometric method with aluminum chloride.  Total tannins were estimated by the Folin-Denis method.

The dependence of proton related acidity inside erythrocytes from the proton conductance in the previous 8 stages of the full 9 stepped cycle of proton conductance

It is established that in case of changing of electrons and protons normal conductance by uncoupler as rotenone - inhibitor of mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I, inhibitor of mitochondrial hydrogen atom transport at NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase level, the significance of the pH value in the outside of isolated erythrocytes, the significance of the pH value after the partial hemolysis of isolated erythrocytes, the significance of the pH value after the full hemolysis of isolated erythrocytes changed to alkaline side.
