The paper is written against the backdrop that democracy is considered as the most desirable form of government. Nigeria’s importance to global security hinges on the fact that she is not only the most populous country in Africa, but also strategically located in a region (Gulf of Guinea). Nigeria has provided materials and other forms of support to the democratic processes in Guinea Bissau, Mali, Senegal. Liberia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Niger among others.

A proposed supervisory program to develop planning for teaching skills of english language specialty student teachers at najran university

The study aimed to investigate the impact of a developed supervisory program on developing student teachers’ teaching skills. The sample consisted of (31) students who were enrolled in the field experience course offered by Najran University for 8th level students at the department of English language in the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015.

Effectiveness of blended learning approach in teaching of educational psychology among b.ed trainees’

Different learning problem required different solutions. Each learners required unique learning and unique style but there is one better solution to all types of learners that is blended learning. Blended learning environment amalgamates the advantages of distance education with the effective aspects of traditional education. The purpose of this study was to find out the effectiveness of blended learning instruction among student trainees’ achievement in Educational Psychology. This study was conducted during the fall of the 2013-2014.

The very existence of a viable, functioning society proves its adaptation to its environment, though the quality of adaptation can vary greatly. The bio-medical functions like increased height, earlier maturation and high haemoglobin level are directly linked to fertility, mortality, morbidity and other aspects of health and survival. The knowledge on health related behaviour of a community/tribe depends upon the variables like how ‘man’ and ‘ecology’ has been defined, nature of man-environment relationship and changing nature of the human ecosystem.
