India is a developing economy facing major hurdles of providing energy access to all its citizens, large dependence on fuel imports for energy security, and fulfilling international protocols on climate change mitigation, although the economic and social development is the principal priority. The increase in energy demand due to growing population and industrialization along with depleting fossil fuel resources has stimulated the country’s efforts in adopting power generation from renewable energy sources.

Weight gain in adult patients with hyperphagia is the main concern of long term antiepileptic therapy, but little concern has been taken in pregnant women and their fetal development (weight) as well as long- lasting impact on postnatal growth of the offspring.Sperm positive female C.F. rats were exposed to different doses of Valproic acid (VPA) (50,100 and 200mg/kg body weight) and Gabapentin (GBP) (300 and 400 mg/kg) from gestation day (GD) 0-20 orally with control subjects.Maternal food intake and body weight gain were recorded daily.

The number of undergraduates involved in research activities is very less in Indian medical Colleges. Usually they are focused towards their academic performance and find research activities as time consuming and totally extracurricular. In this study we tried to observe any positive or negative effect of doing short term research on academic performance and at the sametime we tried to obtain students' personal views on doing research AIM: We focused on analyzing the effect of research on academic performance of undergraduate Medical students.

All the 8 lakes and 3 rivers in Damoh District, were studied to analyse the effect of change in Physico-chemical parameters on the planktons, fish and anphibian population and distribution. Due to manhandling of these water bodies, the parameters changed, which led to population fluctuation of phytoplanktons and fish and anphibian.

Globally, agriculture is still facing the challenge of supplying humanity with food, every year millions of people are added to the billions to be fed. Food production faces increasing population, a deficit to cover the needs of the global population with food (Francis, 1986). The famine in some vast regions of the world and continues to make havoc in Sub-Saharan Africa and the DRC in particular, the scourge is increasingly felt. The spaces to produce the food are reduced with the erosive phenomenon and flooding caused by global warming.

Methanol and water soluble extract of Detarium microcarpum Guill and Perr effect of Roo-knot nematode (Meloidogyne javanica) were studied in Laboratory of the Department of Crop Protection, Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola in 2014. Root-knot nematode (M. javanica) juvenile mortality in the Laboratory and chemical compound responsible were ascertained.

Asia is the largest populous continent on earth with 30% of the world's land area and 60% of the world's current population as of 2013. It also has the highest growth rate today, and its population almost quadrupled during the 20th century. Asia has the two most populous countries in its borders: China with an estimated population of 1.36 billion and India with 1.26 billion in 2013. The present paper is concerned with the study of the nature of demographic transition in Asia across the countries.

The research on asset volatility in financial market is the foundation of finance. To measure and predict asset volatility accurately, Bollerslev built a generalised ARCH (GARCH) model based on the ARCH model. The GARCH process is often preferred by financial modelling professionals because it provides a more real-world context than other forms when trying to predict the prices and returns of financial instruments. It is the general process for a GARCH model involves three steps.

The sociology of leisure has always drawn the attention of the academicians. In particular, the discussion on the leisure activities of the older adults has moved to the front burner in the developmental sciences such as applied gerontology in the recent years. That’s because the later years are relatively seen as free time for the individual despite the body constraints due to aging. However, the planning and management of leisure time are extremely considered by the aged regarding their cultural habits.

The objective of this work is to examine the harmonization mechanism trough the creation process of a new food and wine law in Bosnia and Herzegovina, combining domestic wine regulations and European legislative frameworks. The aim is to understand the genesis of the conflict that hinders the development process and represents a barrier to trade liberalization. This paper analyzes criteria and implications of Europeanization and integration process, focusing on mechanism of assistance to pre-candidate countries. The EU’s model of quality food legislation (PDO and PGI) is taken as example.
