Perfil sociodemográfico dos profissionais de enfermagem de um centro cirúrgico e a cultura de segurança do paciente

Objetivo: Descrever o perfil sociodemográfico dos profissionais de enfermagem e a cultura de segurança do paciente no Centro Cirúrgico de um Hospital do nordeste do Brasil. Método: Estudo exploratório- descritivo quantitativo realizado com os profissionais de enfermagem do Centro Cirúrgico de um hospital federal, de alta complexidade no nordeste do Brasil. Foi aplicado o questionário Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPSC). A amostra foi composta de 126 profissionais de enfermagem.

Liver metastasectomy in metastatic breast cancer: report of two cases and literature review

The breast cancer is the most frequent neoplasm in women, with only 22% 5-year survival in metastatic disease. The hepatic metastasectomy, when eligible, showed an impact of 82 months on overall survival in patients submitted to the procedure. However, it is an alternative treatment still debatable in literature. In this study, two reports of metastatic breast cancer with surgical approach are discussed. Patient 1 had liver metastasis of initially triple negative invasive ductal breast carcinoma, but with metastatic immunohistochemistry HER-2 positive.

Formação de professores e tecnologias sob uma perspectiva freiriana

A temática de formação de professores é imprescindível para os profissionais da educação, pois perpassa desafios, mudanças e políticas públicas que envolvem o profissional do magistério e seus saberes docentes. Com esta premissa, o presente texto discute, sob a ótica freiriana, a ideologia e as contribuições de Paulo Freire sobre ser professor e, consequentemente, a respeito da formação de professores, enfatizando o papel das novas tecnologias. É um texto de cunho bibliográfico e qualitativo baseado em obras de Freire, (1980, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2018 e 2019).

Squamous cell carcinoma in young non-smoker patient: case report

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) represents approximately 90% of all oral malignant neoplasms. Oral SCC is more common in white men between the sixth and seventh decades of life, alcoholics, and smokers, and affects mainly the lateral border of the tongue. When it affects young people, it occurs predominantly in non-smoker and non-alcoholic women and the commonsite isthe lateral border of the tongue. Its incidence in young individuals is increasing, and their mechanisms of development are still undefined.

The importance of human resource management for small companies in the city of cajazeiras-pb

In view of the context experienced by organizations characterized by a crisis caused by the disease of the COVID-19 that modified the economic, social and technological space, it becomes vital, in any company, an administration focused on human resources management. In small companies, human resources management becomes crucial in promoting the growth of the enterprise and social visibility in the market. The objective of this work is to demonstrate the relevance of the human resources management sector for small companies in the city of Cajazeiras – Brazil.

The year 2020 was marked by the viral disease called the new coronavirus or covid-19. A lethal disease with a high degree of proliferation and contagion in which social isolation and distancing are the forms of palliative prevention to contain the mass advance of the virus. Educational institutions were closed to decrease human contact and most of them adhered to the remote teaching format. As a whole, the covid-19 pandemic modified the traditional classroom format and caused teachers and students to exchange the board and portfolios for the digital screen.

New insights of prolactin in humans: the role of nurses

Prolactin is synthesize by the anterior pituitary gland, by extrapituitary tissues, such as the mammary gland, prostate, skin and brain. It has been relateding to lactogenesis, however, it is known to induce a wide range of functions in different tissues, modulating neurogenesis, neurodevelopment, sleep, learning, memory and homeostasis of the immune system, and may be linked to different types of cancers. The objective was to identify the new insights of the prolactinemia as a biomarker or inducer of pathological processes.

An application of gothic elements in rudyard kipling's “my own true ghost story”

This paper aims to find the Gothic elements in Rudyard Kipling, selected short story. After the first reading of the short story "My own true ghost story" shows a lot of gothic elements. The analysis of this Gothic story will show how young man haunted by Dak Bungalow because of the game room, doolie bearers walking sound and dark winter night with rain-affected to the young hero of this story.

The supply chain through direct trade in agribusiness coffee: a look at the perspective of its agents

The main objective of this study is investigating how the new model of coffee trade, known as Direct Trade Coffee has increased worldwide and how it has changed the supply chain in coffee trade. Through interviews by multiple-case method, the agents of supply chain coffee as producers, roasters and cafeterias demonstrated your perceptions in trade production, distribution and selling specialty coffee. The Transition Cost Economics theory was used to understand how large the asymmetric information, opportunism and limited rationality impacts the supply chain value overall.
