A discourse analysis of professor-student conversation: a corpus-based study

This study is a corpus based discourse analysis of professor-student conversations in order to identify the linguistic features, power dynamics, politeness strategies, and identity constructions in academic discourse. This research employs a mixed methods approach combining quantitative corpus linguistic tools with qualitative discourse analysis, to study how language reproduces or shapes the hierarchical and mutually working professor-student relationships.

Life quality and social integration of migrants settled in Chile: Venezuelan Narratives

Local economic crisis, violence and permanent political uncertainty, especially in some developing countries, has led to a massive migration of Venezuelans, lately to other countries of South America, looking for better living conditions or mere subsistence. The total number of Venezuelans living in Chile had reached until 2022, 532.715 individuals, representing 32,8% of the migrant population in the country. Since 2014, Venezuelans have arrived in waves with different social, economic and cultural characteristics.

Esta pesquisa aborda a dinâmica natural dos rios da Bacia Amazônica, enfatizando as variações sazonais que caracterizam os ciclos de enchente e vazante. Esses processos são intrínsecos ao regime hídrico da Amazônia, onde a estação chuvosa causa inundações que beneficiam a biodiversidade e a fertilização dos solos, enquanto a estação seca (estiagem) reduz os níveis dos rios, afetando as atividades de subsistência humanas.

Dissemination of health communication on social Media: A context of University Students

In the 21st century pandemic has created chaos among the population across the globe, and social media proves to be a source of medium. However, this source of information or infodemic gave rise to Health-related communication, whether print or digital. Digital media has quite a coverage during the pandemic and post-pandemic. University students are the universe in this research, as youths have the highest access to digital platforms.

An Experimental Study Was conducted to assess the Effectiveness of 'Buerger- Allen Exercise among Diabetes Mellitus Patient In selected Hospital of Gandhinagar the 'General system Model was used as a conceptual framework. A research approval With Experimental Study design was used to advise the Objective of the Study. The sample Size consisted of 30 diabetes mellitus Patients from selected Hospital of Gandhinagar the non-probability purposive sampling technique was used to collect the sample.

Assessment of implementation of the Pradhan Mantri national dialysis Programme in Hospitals in Delhi

Background: Annual-demand for haemodialysis-sessions in India is 3.4 Crores. To make Renal-care-services affordable to APL and free to BPL, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launched Pradhan-Mantri National Dialysis-Programme (PMNDP). Objective: Aim of Study is to assess Implementation of PMNDP and suggest Recommendations for improvement. Methods: Out of 7 functional Dialysis Centres where PMNDP is operational in Delhi, 4 centres were randomly selected. In total, 170 respondents (enrolled in Dialysis-Units) were interviewed.

Embora a lei seja fundamental para a proteção das mulheres vítimas de violência, a utilização indevida por meio de denúncias falsas levanta preocupações sobre o impacto na vida das vítimas falsamente denunciadas.

A review on Hypertension

Hypertension, a major global public health concern. It is one among the leading disease in the world. The prevalence is high in urban than in rural areas. More than 40% of individuals are with history of hypertension. The recent surveys indicate that death rate due to hypertension is globally increasing. More than half of the people with hypertension are currently not following the therapy. The aetiology involves a composite of pathophysiological, environmental and mental conditions besides genetics. It is a key indicative for cardiac diseases.
