Learning program: Public policy for social development and transformation for the young in situation of social vulnerability in the municipality of Cruz Alta- RS

The main objective of the present study is to analyze the contributions and challenges of the Learning Program in the social development and employability of the young in situation of social and economic vulnerability in the municipality of Cruz Alta - RS, in the light of the statements of twenty young people, aged over 18 years, graduated from the Learning Program in the period from 2012 to 2014.

Exhibitions of ormas – an effective approach for promoting rural products and sustainability of rural producers

Exhibitions are organised by ORMAS on a regular basis at different times of the year with an aim to provide opportunity to the rural producers to sell their products in urban markets, to interact amongst themselves so as to learn from each other and also to sensitise urban buyers about rural products. It has played a significant role in the marketing and promotion of rural products in Odisha as well as products of other states. It has been organizing exhibitions in most of the cities of Odisha under the banner of “Pallishree” and “Sisira Saras’’.

An analysis on the love and marriage views of the importance of being earnest

This essay elaborates towards the representative works of Oscar Wilde's comedy: The Importance of Being Earnest, aiming at presenting the views of different people on the love and marriage, and attempts to state the change of different characters’ views towards the marriage and the love. Through the whole reading, the dramatic feature and funny characters are highlighted, and the importance of the being earnest to the true love is revealed at the same time.

Effectiveness of monitoring and evaluation systems on the sustainability of community based projects in Kisarawe District, Tanzania

The objective of the study was to assess the effectiveness monitoring and evaluation systems on the sustainability of community based projects in Kisarawe District, Tanzania. Descriptive survey design was used in this study. The sample comprised of 80 employees selected through simple random and purposive sampling techniques. The study population were all employees at Kisarawe district headquarters. Morgan theory of sample determination was used to determine the sample size. Data was collected through structured questionnaires and interview schedule.

A comparative study of mahila samakhya karnataka federations in the post autonomous period at Periyapatna and Nanjangud Taluks of Mysuru District

The article makes a comparative study of the functioning of Mahila Samakhya Karnataka Federations and its outcomes at Periyapatna and Nanjangud Taluks in the post autonomous period and also analyses the constraints faced by them. Sample size consists of 100 respondents selected randomly from two selected Federations. The data collected is analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results indicate that the Federation at Periyapatna is functioning better. Financial support and timely guidance are required by both the Federations to function extensively.

Avaliação do comportamento mecânico de misturas asfálticas produzidas com resíduos de vidro pulverizado no moinho de alta energia

Avaliaram-seas propriedades mecânicas de duas misturas asfálticas, uma confeccionada com vidro pulverizado no moinho de alta energia (CA-VID), e a outra composição com o fíler tradicional (CA-REF), visando suaaplicação em camadas de pavimento. Determinou-se a resistência à tração por compressão diametral (RT) e o módulo deresiliência (MR).

A caracterização do sistema de gestão ambiental em empresas do setor madeireiro no município de cacoal/ro e as práticas sustentáveis

A gestão ambiental no setor madeireiro se caracteriza por práticas sustentáveis no sentido de reduzir e controlar os impactos ambientais causados pelas indústrias desse setor, sobretudo em relação ao gerenciamento e descarte ambientalmente adequado dos seus resíduos. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a gestão ambiental como fator de minimização dos impactos ambientais em empresas do setor madeireiro do município de Cacoal/RO. Para tanto, realizou-se a pesquisa em 2 (duas) empresas do setor madeireiro do município.

Measuring the impacts of database processing utilization in innovation processes on companies

This work presents an empirical methodology for comprehensive measurement of innovation in companies with a database bias. The structure focuses on what is necessary to obtain a competitive advantage and the factors considered important for a company to remain active, which were found on extensive literature. This developed structure identifies, through scoring, the degree of innovation of a company, showing a correlation between data processing and the degree of innovation on the companies.

Defunct ethnic federalism, ‘clamor for statehood’, violence and the remapping of southern Ethiopia

Contemporary, Ethiopia is razed with various civil resistance, street blocked and small scale conflicts, all in all chaos form every corners of the country. Some of the conflicts are due to the recent national political reform introduced by the current Ethiopian prime minister, as it is seen in the case of Somali and Oromiaregional States. Others are due to path-dependent questions for equitable economic benefit, the demand for state infrastructure and actual state somatic presence.

Transformação de resíduos de construção e demolição na cidade de manaus

Neste trabalho prova-se a viabilidade econômica da transformação e da reciclagem de resíduos de demolição de concreto, em comparação à aquisição de agregados convencionais. Grande parte dos resíduos de construção e demolição são agregados de classe A e tem seu descarte em não-conformidade com a Resolução no. 307, de 5 de julho de 2002 do Conselho Nacional do Meio Ambiente - CONAMA. Assim, os resíduos de construção e demolição são misturados e encaminhados junto com os agregados residuais, em forma de entulho, para o aterro sanitário de Manaus.
