Soil stabilization implies modifying the properties of soil and making it into a strong and durable mass. Soil needs to be densified to improve its shear strength and bearing capacity. It can be achieved through various means like mechanical compaction, addition of chemicals or additives like lime, cement, bitumen and resin. Grouting technique incorporates injecting fluid or suspension called grout into the pores of soil. Chemical grouts and cement grouting are expensive and harmful ways which affect the ecosystem adversely. Hence alternative methods have to be proposed.

Valid mathematical models can be obtained by the means of the system’s input and output data, as well as by using system identification techniques. However, it is fundamental that the data within the time series does not violate the statistical assumptions of the series. It is necessary to perform tests to detect possible violations of the system’s variables.

Reuse of greywater has been studied as an alternative for non-potable uses. The goal of this paper was to quantitatively assess the microbial risk from the reuse of greywater treated in a household case study. A Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment was applied to evaluate the treated greywater. This approach was conducted by taking as reference the pathogens Rotavirus, Campylobacter and Cryptosporidium, the worst cases of water-borne diseases of the families of viruses, bacteria and protozoa, respectively, according to World Health Organization.

Low interfacial tensions are one of the most important mechanisms relating to surfactant. Surfactant loss due to adsorption on the rock surfaces weakens the effectiveness of the chemical injected slurry, in reducing oil-water interfacial tension (IFT) and renders the process uneconomical. Surfactant flooding is enhanced oil recovery method (EOR) adopted in partially depleted oil reservoirs. However, surfactant adsorption can occur reducing the efficiency of EOR methods used. This work studied the influence of NaCl on anionic surfactant adsorption on sandstone.

Job satisfaction is a positive feeling of fulfillment that a faculty derives from their job. It is an attitude which has an outcome in the form of three dimensions, namely specific job factors, individual feature and having a group relationship outside the work environment. It is multi-dimensional concept and most crucial issues of work and organizational psychology. The study represents the various factors or issues which obstruct in job satisfaction among the academic staff/faculty of some colleges in Patna.

Fortaleza is currently a large metropolis located in northeastern Brazil, the city goes through a constant demographic growth and significant increase of the local vehicular fleet. Currently, public policies for urban mobility in the city are being developed, such as encouraging the use of bicycles in cycle lanes, however these cycle-lanes are located in major high traffic routes in the city.

It is a well-known fact that availability of organic manures are very much limited in the present day agriculture but demand for organic and inorganic nutrient supply to the soils ever growing due to intensive cropping systems. Therefore, the application of nutrients needs to be increased to keep the soil fertile and to make agriculture sustainable, but the cost of inorganic fertilizers escalating day by day making any farming is expensive.

Lacunae in English and Ukrainian as rare words make the problem of Translation Studies, Lacunology. The Lacunology as a new linguistic discipline which deals with lacunae in language, speech and cognition uses the general methodology of tertium comparationis and counting tools to differentiate the endoscopes of the linguistic lacunicon. A lacuna can be interpreted as a hapax in the contrasted discourses and corpus studies.
