It attempts to show how a sense of guilt is awakened either by the violation of a religious edict or some moral law and ‘sin’ is pictured as an offence against the will of God, an act which undermines the entire humanity at all levels possible, bringing home the point that the will of man is the cause of sin.

Currently, indicators are primarily used to assess condition of the environment, as early-warning signals of ecological problems. The present survey reveals the presence of diverse diatom communities in three lakes consisting of 9 different genera and 15 species.

Invitro anticancer activity of coconut shell oil on breast cancer cell line

The ethanolic extract of Coconut shell oil were analysed for the anticancer activity against breast cancer cell lines. Coconut shells were collected and further processed for extract preparation. Breast cancer cell line was obtained from NCCS, Pune and was maintained in DMEM High Glucose media in 10% FBS, Penecillin (100 U/ml) and Streptomycin (100 µg/ml).The antiproliferative activity of Coconut shell oil were analysed by 0.5% 3-(4,5-Dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) method.

Influence of temperature and geometry on peach drying kinetics

The peach (Prunus pérsica) much appreciated worldwide due to its organoleptic characteristics, being a highly perishable fruit must be processed quickly after harvest. An alternative well-known for preserving food and little explored in peach fruit is dehydration. This study aimed to compare the peach dehydration kinetics using two variables: temperature and geometry of the fruit.

Results of using green fallow on irrigated soil to enhance the fertility of soil

In our country average precipitation is annually 250-300 mm, and when we assuming that we need 22, 0-30,2 mm precipitation for getting 1 centner of wheat and thus means it is sufficient for 7-10 centner yield. For more yield use irrigation systems to provide the fields with enough water and humidity is important issue. Cultivation using rotation is not only for producing high yields but also it is important for stabilizing and improving the soil fertility like the first condition of the soil.

Extending the storage-life of gerbera flowers cv. ‘lexington’ using cold storage

The experiment was conducted at Ecofrost Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra, to study the effects of tap water, Sucrose, and Sucrose + Citric acid solution treatments on the post-harvest storage-life of cut flowers of Gerbera cv. ‘Lexington’ inside cold storage as well as at room conditions. Gerbera flowers treated with (2% Sucrose + Citric acid 0.2%) (T4) holding solution resulted in the longest storage-life of the cut flowers (13.3 days). Optimum weight of the cut flower (g) on the 3rd, 6th and 10th days was best maintained using treatment i.e. Sucrose 2% (T3).
