Aim and Objective: To determine the effect of square stepping exercise(SSE) on lower limb coordination in young old population. Design: Experimental study. Method: 40 subjects with age group: 65-74 years were randomly assigned into two groups: SSE group (n =20), control group (n = 20). SSE group received 4 weeks of Square stepping exercise training. Control group received 4 weeks of Frenkel’s exercise training.

Comparison Of The Patients Admitted In Icu Perception And Other Hospital Sectors About Care And Support In Health

The patient's opinion about the health service used is fundamental to the health planning. This study aims at knowing and comparing the patients' perception who were hospitalized in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and patients’ admitted in other hospital sectors about the care and the support provided by the health team. It is a quantitative, transversal, and exploratory study. The sample was composed of 410 adults hospitalized in a Brazilian University Hospital in 2018. Data was collected through a telephone interview, with a structured questionnaire and analyzed by the chi-square test.

Comparative study of ductus venosus doppler versus umbilical artery doppler in Management of intra uterine growth restriction and perinatal outcome

Current challenges in the clinical management of IUGR include accurate diagnosis of the truly growth restricted fetus, selection of appropriate fetal surveillance and optimizing the timing of delivery. This study was conducted to evaluate the role of umbilical artery Doppler and ductusvenosus Doppler in management of IUGR pregnancy and perinatal outcome. Total 80 patients who were presented to the in-patient and out-patient department of obstetrics and gynecology of SSKM and IPGME&R Hospital between 28-36 weeks POG with IUGR pregnancy were included in the present study.

When ASHAs were introduced in NRHM in 2005, their primary aim was to visit homes of newborns as the first program in UP operated through the ASHAs was the Comprehensive Child Survival Program in 2008. Since then, tracking of all deliveries and all the newborns are an integral part of the work of ASHAs in all the primary health care programs operated by the NHM in UP. The current study explores some of the crucial variables of the targeted activities of the ASHAs in absolute numbers in four districts of UP.
